And be sure to open parcels at the post office or in the presence of the courier to avoid loss of order, money and nerves. The main advantage of the buyer protection program on the Aliexpress.com trading platform is that you send money to the seller only after you receive the package. But so that the sellers are not deceived either, you first send the money, and it is held by the Aliexpress system, i.e., in other words, the seller will be able to receive the money only when you confirm that the package has arrived and everything is in order with the ordered goods.

NEVER confirm receipt of your package in advance! Some unscrupulous sellers may require you to confirm receipt of the parcel! Don't believe it, it's a scam. As soon as you confirm receipt, the seller will receive the money and there will be no need to send him the parcel!

Also, if a defective item arrives, do not under any circumstances confirm satisfactory receipt of the parcel. Even if the seller says that first you need to confirm receipt and only after that you will receive the money. The seller will also receive the money and forget about you.

If you received a defect or did not receive the parcel at all, then in this case, you need to open a dispute or file a complaint.

If you have not received your package within 60 working days (approximately 84 calendar days), then, in this case, Aliexpress will return your money, unless, of course, you opened a dispute on this order and did not click on the button to confirm satisfactory receipt.

A dispute can be opened 6 days after the order is sent.

The period during which you can open a dispute will always be displayed in the details of your order in the form of a red countdown timer.

This period can be increased by the seller at your request. If you see that the deadline is running out and the package has not yet been received, you can ask the seller to increase the delivery time by several days. To do this, contact the seller.

If the parcel is not received within the allotted time, then you can safely open a dispute and demand a refund from the seller.

A temporary diagram of the possibility of opening a dispute and converting it into a claim is shown in the figure.

After opening a dispute, the seller and you are given 15 days to try to reach an agreement. If an agreement cannot be reached within 15 days, the dispute is automatically converted into a claim. Claims are reviewed by the technical support of the Aliexpress platform and they themselves will resolve all issues with the seller or with you if the reason for the dispute concerns defects or shortages.

If the seller does not respond to your messages when opening a dispute, or does not try to reach an agreement with you, then you can open a claim yourself, without waiting for the 15-day period, after 5 days from the date of opening the dispute.

Select the order you are interested in and click on the " Open dispute".

If you have already opened a dispute, for example, due to non-receipt of the goods, and during the period of the dispute the goods still arrived, but turned out to be not what you ordered or have some defects or defects, then the reason for the already open dispute can be changed.

To change the reason for the dispute, go to the section of your orders, find there an order for which a dispute has already been opened and go to the details page of this order by clicking the button " View Details". On the order details page that opens, click the button " Modify Dispute Details".

After this, the dispute details form will open, the same as when opening the dispute. After filling out the form, click on the button " Submit". After this, the reason for the dispute will be changed.

If during the dispute period you have resolved the problem with the seller and come to an agreement, or you have received the ordered product, then in this case the dispute should be closed.

After this, your dispute will be closed.

If you have closed the dispute, but the deadline for receiving the order has not yet expired and you have not confirmed receipt of the goods, then the dispute regarding this order can be opened again.

For example: You placed an order and it was sent by regular mail. After 30 days have passed from the date of shipment, you have opened a dispute about non-receipt of the goods. After 3-4 days you receive the goods and close the dispute. But a day later it turns out that the product you received has some kind of defect. Since the deadline for opening a dispute has not yet passed, you can reopen the dispute for this product. In this case, it is recommended to open a repeated dispute within 4, maximum 5 days from the date of receipt, otherwise the transaction may be closed automatically and it will not be possible to open a repeated dispute.

To begin, we also go to the list of our orders and select the one we are interested in by pressing the button " View Details" next to the order.

To submit a claim, click on the button with the name "File a Claim". After that, select " Yes", in the window that appears.

That's all. Your claim will be submitted to the managers of the Aliexpress site, and they will resolve all issues with the seller; you will only have to wait for their verdict.

NEVER confirm receipt of your package in advance! Some unscrupulous sellers may require you to confirm receipt of the parcel! Don't see me, this is a scam. As soon as you confirm receipt, the seller will receive the money and there will be no need to send him the parcel!
