Altel commands the rest of the traffic. How to extend Internet traffic on Altel's ex-unlimited tariff.

The cancellation of unlimited Internet primarily affected users of Wi-Fi routers. Most Altel subscribers subscribed to the Web unlim and Unlim LTE tariff plans for 4,500 tenge, the conditions of which from April 1 do not correspond to the name. Previously, for this amount the so-called unlimited Internet: at high speed it was possible to download 15 GB, and after that priority on the network was given to subscribers who had not spent this limit, and often the speed was slow. And now for this money you can get only 30 GB, but, as Altel notes, without speed restrictions. Once the traffic is exhausted, access to the Internet is blocked.

In order to prevent Internet access from being cut off, you need to monitor traffic in personal account on the Altel website. The number of megabytes spent/remaining is shown in the first rectangle on the left.

If you have used up all 30 GB of Internet, your operator offers you two options for resuming Internet access:

  • Connect to a one-time internet package. This can be done in your personal account or on the website booster.altel.kz. Just select the appropriate service and enter the number on which the Internet will be renewed.

  • Pay 4,500 tenge again and reconnect tariff plan. The algorithm of actions is exactly the same as in the first case.

You can also use the autoinformer at 893 with Altel, which explains in as much detail as possible the conditions and logic of the tariff and services.

Let us remind you that on the eve of April 4, 2016, due to the cancellation of the unlimited tariff, Altel offices became subscribers of the company. Hundreds of people insisted on returning their money.
