Since there is nothing left to lose in terms of sound quality, candidates for replacement were considered.

Instead of the existing TDA7388? without any modifications the TDA7560 and the completely “musical” TDA7850 are suitable
Not forgetting that the amplifier is only part of the sound path, I settled on the more affordable TDA7560, which also turned out to be in the amplifiers I liked so much I like the sound of Kenwood.
Basically, the TDA7560A was extracted from it (although it is needed without the letter A, but this one also fit), and at the same time a power supply capacitor.
Because the native looked too unconvincing:

Test listening after replacement showed that the sound has indeed become noticeably better.
At low volume it is quite pleasant to listen to.

But at higher volumes the distortion, although it became smaller, did not go away anywhere.
Considering that the amplifier microcircuit is of exactly good quality and sound (since it was taken from a radio that I listened to for quite a long time), and the signal source in the form of a processor produces a constant signal drove regardless of the volume, it remains:

The Internet again agrees, and even suggests that it is precisely because of the crap of the “analog” that the BASS mode in the sound settings does not work correctly - you get a terrible muttering instead of bass.

Why invest time and money into something that has not yet been fully tested?

Not everything is smooth with the installation either.
Although the original universal mounts in the car fit “like family,” the radio on them was clearly not in its place.
