How to set up push notifications? Let's look at the step-by-step instructions:

Step 1. Register on the service

Complete the registration procedure on the website sendpulse.com by clicking on the “Try for free” button.

Registration is possible at Email or through an account at in social networks(Google+, Facebook). Once registered, log into your profile using the “Login” button.

Step 2. Set up push notifications

You need to work with push notifications in the “PUSH” section.

To connect push messages to your resource, click “Add a new site”.

Here, enter your domain, upload an image (this could be your logo in the form of a square), which will be displayed in the subscription request window. Then select the time the request appears (for example, when it appears on the site), and the type of pop-up message. You can choose the Safari style: such notifications appear in the header and do not interfere with viewing the content.

Below you can enter a title, the text of the subscription request, and also determine what will be written on the buttons. There is also a preview of the subscription form you created.

After completing the settings on this page, proceed to the next step by clicking on the appropriate button. Then you should enter the suggested code in the header before the closing tag /head. Then a subscription request will appear on your resource.

If the site is on Wordpress, then in most cases the code needs to be added to the header.php file. Because of the variety Wordpress templates, the location of the header code may be another file, and the code may have a different name. For example, top.php.

Step 5. Set up auto-mailing

The SendPulse service allows you to set up automatic mailings with the preliminary creation of a series of notifications (similar to a series of letters in an e-mail newsletter). In addition, it is possible to set up automatic distribution based on RSS.

To use these options, you need to go to the “Automatic Distribution” tab. We will not describe this step in detail; it is already clear.


After selecting the added resource in the left panel, modifications are available in the settings - changing the image, title, text on the subscription form, pop-up message style, enabling/disabling the welcome text.

Here you can view statistics on the resource - how many users subscribed/unsubscribed, how many newsletters were sent.

In the “Subscribers” tab, a list of all users subscribed to your mailing list is available.
