Connecting a Chinese car radio 2 din. Instructions for connecting a Chinese radio

Chinese 2 din car radios have a lot of advantages and I would like to talk about them in this article. First of all, Chinese 2 din car radios are functional devices that can significantly increase the comfort of any car.
Chinese car radios with this connector size are different from conventional devices with a standard type of 1 din. The dimensions of 2 din car radios immediately catch your eye.
This is naturally a huge plus, because due to such dimensions it is possible to introduce large LCD displays with a resolution of up to 7 inches, which Chinese manufacturers are successfully doing today.

Note. According to experts, among the obvious advantages of 2 din Chinese car radios, one can single out their stable and long-term operation compared to 1 din devices. Yes, and the functionality of the radio 2 din is much higher.

Other advantages of Chinese 2 din car radio

Consider the main advantages of these car radios:

  • Often such car radios are equipped with additional interfaces. So, in the modern market you can find Chinese models that have a built-in GPS module.
    It's no secret that this is only admired by drivers of vehicles who kill two birds with one stone. If earlier they had to buy a GPS module, which costs a lot of money, separately, now you can get it as a gift by purchasing a car radio.
  • A high-quality color display is the next big plus for a 2 din car radio. This allows you to watch videos on a high-quality color display.

Note. Today, 2 din car radios can be divided into two groups. These are universal and head unit. The first can be installed in almost any car, the second - only in specific models. Both have their own specific advantages and disadvantages.

  • Another advantage of modern 2 din radio tape recorders is the ability to connect third-party devices. For example, it can be a rear view camera, which today is an alternative to the entire parking sensors system.
  • Not only a rear view camera, but also other additional devices can be easily connected to these car radios. This is due to the fact that the universal display of the device is adapted to display a variety of information on the screen.

The advantages of Chinese 2-din radio tape recorders are undeniable, which makes them very popular not only in the West, but also in our domestic market.

Differences car radio 1 and 2 din

Car radios vary in size. First of all, determine what is possible in front of you by the size of the case.
So, it is enough to measure the height of the case and everything becomes clear:

  • 1 din - width / 178 mm, length / 180 mm, height / 50 mm.
  • 2 din - width / 178 mm, length / 180 mm, height / 100 mm.

As you can see, the height of the case, the car radios we describe, is twice as large.

Note. 2 din car radios can also be inserted into an additional niche provided by the manufacturers of some cars. In other words, this size simply will not fit into a standard place here and you have to put the device in an additional niche.

The screen of car radios can also be considered as a difference. So, 1 din radio tape recorders are available with a screen from 2 inches to seven.
As for the 2 din radio tape recorders, there are already other requests - from six to seven inches with a variety of functions and tilt adjustment options.

Installing a 2Din Chinese radio + reworking the standard frame

Whatever car you have, you always want to have better, newer, faster. Yes, yes, the owners of Bentley also dream of ... Rolls-Royce))) If there is not enough money for the coveted new thing or you just don’t want to part with “His Charm”, then the torture of the rattletrap with xenon, pseudo-direct current and carbon begins. Fortunately, the Chinese counterparts give a complete carte blanche for the flight of automotive fantasy.

The evolution of the radio in my car

The first music box in the car was ... a hole that gaped instead of a radio when buying. The cassette recorder + FM modulator became a temporary plug. The pleasure of the sound was dubious, and a few months later the Russian SUPRA SDM-3504 settled in the console. Over time, the latter refused to play some files, lag flash drives, etc. I just got bored. Having measured the dimensions of the opening in the transition frame, I began to look for a radio tape recorder of the right size. As it turned out, devices with a diagonal of 6.2 are full. But 6.95 turned out to be just nothing.

On the GEARBEST website, I found a "media combine" that caught my attention - KSD - 6902:
* Diagonal size - 6.95 inches
* Play video and music in the most popular formats
* Radio, the stump is clear
* Speakerphone HANDS FREE
* Ability to connect a camera
* TV function
** GPS - no
** Android - no
* Item price - $127. Taking into account the weight of the parcel of 2.7 kg, delivery is paid. In total it turned out $147

As you can see, the gadget is extremely simple. If desired, it could be found on android and with navigation, but this is 30-50 raccoons more expensive. There was no desire and no opportunity to overpay. In the end I ordered this one. Until the last moment, I was worried about the integrity of the contents of the parcel: after all, many thousands of kilometers flew. Luckily, everything arrived safe and sound. Let's move on to the contents of the package.

Order set includes:
1. Radio
2. Chip for connection
3. Control panel
4. Stylus
5. Instruction
6. Packing

Radio tape recorder Packed well: in addition to the main one, it is packed in a shipping box. The main box is made of thick laminated cardboard with full color printing. Inside - thick spacers made of foamed polyethylene, providing immobilization of the contents. In bulk are the manual, cable, remote control and stylus. After examining the contents of the package, we can conclude that the packaging fully ensures the safety of the product during delivery.
The instruction is universal: for radio tape recorders with and without GPS (subject). On English language, with pictures. On the whole, the informational content of the booklet is questionable. it outlines the most basic functions. The stylus is ordinary, as in ancient handhelds - it is made of hard plastic and leaves streaks on the display. We put off the Contact Chip and the Remote Control until connected and go to the Radio.

External dimensions correspond to those declared on the site. The case is pasted over with a transport film. The case has mounting holes with a thread for the frame. Mounting frame not included. The assembly is of high quality, to match the brand relatives. There is a sticker on the body detailed description chip assignments. All chips and connectors are installed rigidly, do not play and do not hang out. Screen protective film not pasted over, but if you do not use the stylus, you will not need it. The backlight of the radio is blue, it illuminates the buttons and the drive. From the inscriptions - a completely faceless model name and device profile. The thin bezel and small buttons make the screen look bigger than the real thing. On the front we will also find 3 slots: 1 for miniUSB, 2 for microSD (media and map). From the holes - a disc receiver, a microphone and rst (reset). In the left upper corner the port for receiving the remote signal was hidden. Everything is done in a very minimalist style. There are only four buttons on the front panel: POWER, EJECT DISC, VOLUME+ and VOLUME-. The button travel is short, with a click. By the way, the website huge selection radio with more extensive physical navigation at the same price. I made a choice in favor of design consciously, knowing my "style" of using the radio: background mode listening to radio and music without having to jump from track to track or change radio stations.

Epic with the installation ...

The first step is to remove the old radio and connect a new chip. The sacrament of connection took place in the service, there is no photo. Next, remove the standard frame for subsequent fastening of the radio to it. In the absence of a transition frame in the kit, I had to use improvised materials. In my case, at hand was a profile for installing drywall, which came up like a native. It turned out like this:

Before installing the radio, do not forget to connect the connector, the antenna and unscrew the transport screws from the DVD drive (in the upper part of the radio). Otherwise, the disc will not be pulled into the radio. Now it's time to install the whole structure in the console. The design turned out to be quite rigid thanks to the three-point fastening. Of course, replacing the old radio with a two-din one is impossible without a transition frame. As a result of the search, the most budget transitional frame was found on Aliexpress for an unimaginable $ 45 ... Having scratched my turnips, I took a desperate step and proceeded to remake the stock frame. First we shoot: Naturally, the crossbar was subject to indisputable removal. Taking into account the state of the stock frame (scratches covered with carbon), I did it without pity and sorrow))) Step by step: I cut off the cross member - filled the hole with hot glue - sanded the craft - painted it with spray paint. The result satisfied me and I realized that it was no longer possible to return to the single din version.

Now it's time for the jewelry fit of the panel and the manufacture of the edging. In my case, the donor was the old number frame.

In the last photo, you can see that a window has been cut through at the bottom. I decided to put a parktronic in this nesting box: I’m very used to it, to it in the previous version. Installing the parking sensors in stages: connect the chips - gut the parking sensors and release the display from the case - solder the display with hot glue on the back of the transition frame. The result is:

Paste the frame in its original place. Well, now everything is fancy.

Radio functionality

The first thing we see on the screen after cranking while the radio is loading is a faceless picture of the Planet Earth in nasty blue tones, which can be replaced with the logo of your car (more on this later in the section “Buttons that are not there ...”) A cold start of the radio takes about 3-5 seconds and we get to main screen with function icons.

The first screen (functionality) consists of: RADIO / DVD / BLUETOOTH / TV / USB / SD / IPOD / AV IN
The second screen (settings) consists of: SYSTEM / CLOCK / AUDIO / TOUCH / DISPLAY / WHEEL
The icons are large, clicking on each is indicated by a stroke. Opening apps is instant. Display resolution 800x480, installed TFT matrix. The squalor of the screen, given the current prevalence of IPS, kills. Fortunately, you don’t have to constantly look at it) The viewing angles of the screen are weak. With a direct hit of the bright sun on the display, the information content is greatly reduced. In the daytime, the information is read normally. There are no questions regarding the sensitivity of the display: both pressing and scrolling occur without lags.

RADIO

The most colorful interface! The search for radio stations lies in the FM and AM range. You can store 18 (!) FM and 12 AM stations in memory. Memorization occurs by holding the button with the radio station number for a long time. With each next start of the car, the last active wave is turned on. The reception quality is no different from the stock radio, although it rather depends on the antenna. On the road, noises are periodically heard, but the wave was never lost. My favorite "Russian" catches always, everywhere and in good quality. In constant radio mode, the menu buttons "Home", "Search", "Stereo" and "Equalizer" are lit. The RDS function, also known as a ticker, is also supported. At the top of the radio menu there are active icons SD, DVD, Bluetooth. Clicking on these icons will take you to the corresponding menu. Now a little digression about ...
A BUTTON WHICH IS NOT, BUT ... IT IS! There is a button in the radio that does not give itself away, but you can press it. She hid in the RADIO tab in the picture of the planet (see above, signed as "LOGO"). So, when you click on the globe, we fall into the selection menu start page. Here we have a choice of 15 car brand logos. Why exactly these brands are represented is a mystery to me. Apparently there are no other brands for the Chinese))) Fortunately for me, the cherished Mitsubishi was found in the arsenal. Now, at the start of the radio, instead of Planet Earth, the Mitsubishi icon will flaunt on the screen)

DVD
The radio tape recorder reads all the DVD discs(found only two). I read the wedding disc in 16:9 DVD format without any problems, although with some delay. The screen format is appropriate. Recorded video on CD-R disc in AVI format began to play instantly, without braking. When you click on any area of the screen, the Settings Menu pops up at the bottom, which includes buttons:
- RPT - REPEAT PLAY - Track/disc repeat function. When this recording finishes playing, it will be played from the beginning.
- RDM - Random play function. Plays all tracks on the current disc in random order.
- L/R - enable/disable stereo mode
- OSD - On-screen display. Display on the screen, sound settings, picture settings, timer and other information.
- SUB_T - Function to enable/disable subtitles
- MENU - Exit to the main menu
- Left/Right/Up/Down - cursor movement
- OK - close the settings tray
The delay for this panel to disappear is 10 seconds. Given that there are no physical buttons for scrolling through tracks, you need to meet the allotted time.

Homogeneous functions, so we will consider them together. On the front side there are two connectors: 2 microSD, 1 miniUSB. One microSD is signed as MEDIA, the second as MAP (Map). The first is used for its intended purpose, the second (due to the lack of GPS) is used by me to store the second card - with the Soviet Cinema Fund, for the road))). USB is connected via an adapter (included). When you connect any drive, the radio automatically starts reading it. Depending on the speed of the flash drive, capacity and amount of information, the reading time can last from 2-3 to 25 seconds. In the first case, this is TRANSCEND 16 GB / 10speed. In the second - a Chinese flash drive Noname 8 GB. The radio does not read the Russian language. In the SD and USB browsing menu, you can quickly switch from listening to music to viewing images and videos. And vice versa. The media player is frankly sad and uncomfortable. Firstly, it is completely dull: there are no pictures and interface improvements. Everything is displayed in simple lists. The folders are displayed on the left side, the playlist is displayed on the right side. The artist and the title of the track are displayed as a running line in the search bar at the top. I was also upset by the meager information content: a faceless font and the lack of track playback time. The distance between the lines in the playlist is small, it is not easy to hit with a finger. Switching between tracks is done by clicking on the desired line in the list. Scrolling through the playlist pages can be done with the arrows at the bottom of the screen. Reading of all popular MUSIC formats occurs without problems, regardless of the “heaviness” of the file, bitrate, etc. But watching VIDEO is not so simple. The first attempts to play AVI and MOV video files failed: the inscription UNSUPPORTED FORMAT constantly popped up. All because this device controlled by OS WIN 6.0, like any primitive navigator. Therefore, performance miracles should not be expected. Searching for solutions on the Internet led me to the Format Factory program. With the help of the latter, any video format is converted to the AVI 640x360 XVID I need. Now any video is read by the radio without problems. PHOTOS can be viewed both in slide show mode and by paging.

BLUETOOTH
To connect the bluetooth device to the radio, we find it under the name CAR KIT. The phone itself suggested the password "0000". After the devices are paired, the message “CONNECTING OK” will appear on the radio screen. Now the connection will occur automatically. During use, the display shows the necessary navigation of the phone: dialing, calling, hanging up, last dialed and received calls. Among other things, the "Phone book" function is available. However, only numbers are visible in the list, none of the languages (Russian, English) is displayed on the screen. During the conversation, the interlocutor is heard very well, the sound is transmitted to the regular speakers of the machine. The volume can be adjusted both on the phone and on the radio. He himself has to raise his voice a little, because. Otherwise, they start asking questions. The device protocol supports HSP/HFP and A2DP profiles.

One more interesting feature Bluetooth - broadcasting sound from a tablet / phone to the acoustics of the car. This can be useful when listening on a phone or watching a movie on a tablet.

TV
It just doesn't exist. When connecting the antenna plug, no channels were found by auto-search. On the advice of smart people, I paired the car and television antenna cable. Unfortunately, this did not give a positive result. The forums advised me to buy a television transcoder. However, the cost of such a toy did not suit me - from $40. Any thoughts on how to fix this problem in a more budgetary way will be gratefully heard in the comments.

AV IN, IPOD
I did not check these functions because:
- AV IN is located on the rear panel (see photo above), and disassembling the panel is not comme il faut
- IPODa in the household is not opened.
I'll have to take the word of the Chinese, but I can't guarantee it)

I bring to your attention a visual video review of the functions of the radio (Part 1)

SETTINGS MENU
SYSTEM
Configuring System Settings
CLOCK
In this tab, you can set the clock. When debugging the clock, you can set the 12/24 hour mode, hide or show the clock on the display.
AUDIO
Adjusting the equalizer, balance, frequencies, etc. Possible quick setup FLAT, JAZZ, ROCK, CLASSIC and USER sound modes. The latter mode involves fine tuning.
TOUCH
Display calibration. Produced with a stylus on a cross.
DISPLAY
Desktop setup. Here you can choose one of the preset modes or customize the wallpaper yourself. You can make the picture brighter/darker, richer/dimmer, and sharper/softer. Unfortunately, the desktop picture is unchanged.
WHEEL
Quick access to radio functionality. How to activate this function, I did not understand. In this tab, none of the buttons is pressed.

DVD Video Review + Settings Menu (Part 2)

And now for the sake of which the radio tape recorder was bought. SOUND, oddly enough, in all modes is much better than "my former" SUPRA. Despite the poor equalizer (ROCK / JAZZ / FLAT, etc.), an absolutely pure "meaty" sound was detected. I think even sophisticated soundophiles and audio maniacs would appreciate the sound quality. An impressive 90Db is recorded in the sound radius according to the measurements of the sound level meter. I tried to squander the monitors "on the butt" with an acoustics test on the bottoms. Even at full power, there was no subsidence of the speakers, no rattling is heard. When making a test, all ranges sounded as they should, sometimes even dinner was asked to come out. I was very pleased with the sound. Yes, there, see for yourself)))

Here, in general, that's all. Many thanks to those who read!
Sorry in advance for the small number of photos, there are not many here (((

At the very beginning of our article, we will define the concept of "Chinese radio tape recorders" in order not to return to it later. So. To date, all audio and video electronics of universally known world brands, intended for installation in passenger cars and heavy vehicles, are manufactured at the production facilities of the companies of the same name located in China. Thus, when we say Pioneer, Sony and similar names, we automatically mean products manufactured in China.

Chinese record players for cars

It should be noted that the entire production cycle for the assembly of this type of equipment takes place in full compliance with the requirements of the companies that own the brands, which guarantees high quality declared trademark.

There are a number of car radios that are positioned as native, Chinese goods. But upon closer examination, it often turns out to be the same Kenwoods, Prolodges and so on, in a slightly modified form. By the way, very good quality. For the reason that Chinese developers do not bother themselves with technical changes in devices, limiting themselves, as we have already said, to changing the design.

The third option for Chinese players can be called gadgets of an incomprehensible brand and production. You should stay away from such radio tape recorders, because, in addition to troubles and wasted money (despite low price), they will not bring you anything.

Summarizing our introduction, let's say. Most of the audio equipment on the market today is Chinese in nature, but developed and certified to global standards by well-known companies. Accordingly, the process of installing, connecting and operating these gadgets, as well as additionally connected equipment, is uniform (by model). And it is no different from the European (American, Japanese) assembly technique (does it exist at all?).

2 din connection via ISO connector

The connection diagram of a Chinese 2 din radio tape recorder is described in detail in the manufacturer's operating instructions attached to it. To facilitate installation work on the rear panel of the player, as a rule, there is the necessary marking of all components and connections. Basically, difficulties for motorists who are faced with the installation of a standard or non-standard radio tape recorder for the first time are caused by the correct connection of the car's electrical wiring to the receiver.

All work on connecting the car radio is carried out through the ISO connector, which consists of two plug boxes - A and B (each contains eight contact connections) or one combined box, where A is the plug for power connections of the radio, B is responsible for car acoustics.

The standard wiring diagram (pinout) is as follows.

  1. Connector A. 1, 2 and 3 contacts are not used.
  • 4 - yellow power cable going to battery auto;
  • 5 - blue wire, amplifiers and external antenna;
  • 6 - orange cable, backlight;
  • 7 - red - ignition;
  • 6 - black. Weight.

  1. Block B. Here, too, everything is quite simple.
  • 1 and 2 pin - purple, purple-black wire. Plus and minus of the right rear speaker (speakers);
  • 3, 4. Grey. Grey-black. Plus or minus the front right column;
  • 5, 6. White. White and black wire. Front left plus or minus;
  • 7 and 8. Green and green-black wire. Rear left positive and negative contact.

When connecting the car radio, it is very important not to confuse the contact groups of wires. Since the sound quality of your equipment depends on them. And often the safety of the equipment itself.

Rear View Camera

About usefulness this equipment no need to tell. The rear view camera is an invaluable aid for novice motorists who usually have difficulty performing parking operations.

According to the types (place and method) of installation, there are several types of rear view cameras:

  • Standard installation cameras. In places strictly defined by the manufacturer of the car;
  • Universal devices. The location is chosen by the driver;
  • Wired;
  • Wireless rear view cameras.

As an example, we use a universal wired camera and a Chinese 2 din radio tape recorder.

Choose the installation location. License plate frame, luggage compartment handle, etc. In the cabin, behind the rear window, the camera is not recommended.

We carry out laying of the cable connecting the camera and GO. A five-meter length wire is included with the device.

Connect the camera to power. Any of the reversing lights acts as a source. Be sure to use a fuse in this circuit.

We connect the camera to the player through the tulip (connector). There is a separate exit for this. If it is not available, the device is connected via the video input.

We make adjustments to the picture and camera position.

multiwheel

This name means connecting a Chinese radio to the steering wheel of a car. That is, it is possible to control the regular player directly from the steering wheel.

For implementation this connection will need:

  • Steering wheel with built-in control buttons or a niche for their placement;
  • car radio;

  • Two adapters (adapters) ISO;
  • Transitional devices for the antenna and the combination of the steering wheel buttons with the radio.

Let's make a reservation right away, the process of connecting a multimedia system and its adaptation with a multifunction steering wheel is not that difficult, but painstaking and requires certain skills. This is explained by the fact that very often the pinout of such a connection for the car radio and the steering wheel does not match, although they are spelled out in the instructions. And therefore, we advise, if possible, to contact a specialized center dealing with such installations.

Hello readers of this site.

Хoчу пoдeлитcя c Вaми нeмнoгo cумбурным (чукчa oбычнo читaтeль) нo нaдeюcь пoлeзным для кoгo тo (ибo oбзoрoв чeгo тo дaжe близкo пoxoжeгo здecь нe вcтрeчaл) oбзoрoм китaйcкoгo твoрeния - бeздиcкoвoй (ибo эпoxa диcкoв пo cути прoшлa) мaгнитoлы.

Serving almost (because it was bought used) faithfully, the Japanese creation of Kenwood began to give up.

She didn’t read flash drives, only DVD, but mp3 and even some kind of video ...
But the drive became so demanding on discs and roads that the music turned into continuous stuttering.

After walking around the shops, and looking at the options, I somehow got depressed - I needed an option with a display, because. there is a parking camera in the car.
And for such they asked from 14 tr.
I have already begun to think about the separation of functions - to take a simple 1 DIN radio and a monitor for the camera separately from the Chinese.
It was during the search for the camera on Ali that the search engine suddenly gave out this balalaika.

Yes, my attitude to Chinese car radios was not very good for me.
Experience in the form of a simple 1DIN radio for 700 rubles. then replacing it with a “superdupercombine”, which could do both GPS and video, and some kind of telly was ...
But her sound was sloppy, and from flash drives, you could listen to the radio.
The navigator was inconvenient, because the radio is low and it was necessary to lean.
The telly required a good signal, which we don’t have.
As a result, all this junk and it was not Kenwood that changed.
Which, although in terms of functionality, was modest, but did its job for five - gave out a good pleasant sound.

But since then, 5 years have already passed, so the thought arose, what if the Chinese have learned something?

The order was made - for about 3000 of our money and almost a month of waiting, a package arrived:

In the package there is an unnamed box, which is clearly the factory packaging:

Apparently, therefore, in the reviews sometimes there are complaints from buyers either about a broken screen, or about a crumpled case.
I separately asked the seller to pack better, but I wrote back three standard footcloths in response, he did not.

Inside, the radio itself was waiting:

Instructions, remote control, connectors, and actually everything:

The radio is really shallow:

Spare on connectors:

But there is a cheat sheet for the purpose of these connectors:

Without thinking for a long time, we turn it on.
As the intro says "just fire":

But then everything is not so bad.

And pictures:

The jamb is immediately visible - the bluetooth icon sticks out on the screen all the time, and I never found how to remove it.

The settings are modest:

By clicking on the twist, you can still adjust the sound and picture a little:

Speaking of sound - a miracle did not happen, all the same "flat" and even a little annoying.

From the good - video formats, this thing really understands a lot.
From those available on the flash drive (and there were also recordings from video recorders in very exotic formats), everything was reproduced.
Music also plays without problems, with different bitrates and different formats.

But according to Chinese tradition, it stupidly dumps files from all folders into one common playlist.
Unless, if you open the folder through the "explorer":

you can go to the desired folder, select the desired track, but again you fall into the general mess, but at the beginning of the contents of the folder.

Next is my favorite - autopsy:

Runs the whole processor from Allwinner Technology F1C500

In the second half there is an amplifier and a power supply system:

An unknown PT7388 was used as an amplifier

Um, or still familiar - TDA7388 obviously the Chinese "copied" from it
Like the microcircuit for adjusting the audio settings:

Obviously a copy of TDA7313

And then a thought arose - TDA7388 and so does not shine with quality, because. designed for the budget segment itself.
And then there’s also a copy, not a fact that it’s not worse.

The search engine helpfully suggested - I'm not the first to have such thoughts, to replace the microcircuit.
because to lose, in terms of sound quality, you can say that there is already nothing, candidates for replacement were considered.

Instead of the existing TDA7388? without any modifications fit TDA7560 and completely "musical" TDA7850
Not forgetting that the amplifier is only a part of the sound path, I stopped at the more affordable TDA7560, which also turned out to be in the amplifier of the Kenwood sound that I liked so much.
Substantively, the TDA7560A was removed from it (although it is needed without the letter A, but this one also came up), well, and a power capacitor at the same time.
For the native looked too unconvincing:

Trial listening after replacement showed that the sound really became noticeably better.
At a low volume, it is quite pleasant to listen to him.

But at a high volume, the distortion, although it became smaller, did not go anywhere.
Учитывaя, чтo микрocxeмa уcилитeля тoчнo xoрoшo кaчecтвa и звукa (т.к. взятa из мaгнитoлы кoтoрую cлушaл дocтaтoчнo дoлгo), a иcтoчник cигнaлa в видe прoцeccoрa выдaeт нeизмeнный cигнaл внe зaвиcимocти oт грoмкocти, ocтaeтcя oнa:

Obviously the same shitty "analogue" of a very decent TDA7313.
The Internet again agrees, and even suggests that it is precisely because of the crappiness of the “analogue” that the BASS mode in the sound settings does not work correctly - it turns out a terrible mumbling instead of bass.

But, unfortunately, this was not available in the stores, so I left this stage for a possible future.
Why invest time and money in something that has not yet been fully tested?

With the installation, too, not everything is smooth.
The native universal mounts in the car, although they fit “like native ones,” but the radio on them turned out to be clearly out of place.

With the help of a drill and a file, I still managed to find the correct position:

And the Chinese creation finally took its place:

Parking camera mode works:

And even as it should be - the radio itself turns on and shows a picture, even if it is turned off.

But the Chinese would not be Chinese, if they hadn’t messed up here too - after exiting the camera mode, the radio turns on completely, regardless of whether it was turned on before.
And since for example, in my case, the gearbox handle always flies through the reverse gear, then the radio always turns on at the start of the movement, regardless of your desire.

As a result.
This device, of course, is not without flaws, but as an inexpensive version of a universal player, it has the right to life.
In addition, there is some groundwork for improvements and improvements.

P.S.
what I forgot to mention in the review:
- this device does not have a wire to connect to the dimensions. Therefore, at night it is proposed to reduce the brightness of the screen yourself through the icon on it.
- the display is quite bright, with good (for TFT, of course) viewing angles. Doesn't fade in the sun.
- the radio recorder remembers the settings of the radio stations and even the place where the music playback stopped when the battery is disconnected.
- but at the same time forgets the sound and picture settings.

Finally, the cat, obviously dissatisfied with the switching of attention from him, to the writing of this review:

Often buyers of economy class cars are not satisfied with their sound, appearance, or for some other reason, head unit installed at the factory - auto manufacturers. In this article, we will talk about Chinese 2 din radios on Android, their types, brands and characteristics, based on reviews from Internet users, as well as reviews on this topic on the network.

Types of Chinese radio Android 2 din with firmware

First of all, it should be said that the stamp is generally accepted - made in China, which means poor quality, has long outlived its usefulness. Modern sound reproducing equipment can be divided into two types.

The first one is an ordinary regular car radio installed in a passenger car at the time of its exit from the factory conveyor. That is, a device for playing music from a certain type of media without any additional functions.

Second. This is a whole multimedia center, which in various combinations includes:

  • Basic operating system Android (Windows);
  • Touch screen;
  • Bluetooth option;
  • USB/Flash port;
  • Ability to connect to 3G - Internet;
  • WiFi;
  • The ability of the device to reproduce information from several different media; MP4, CD, DVD or flash cards;
  • TV tuner;
  • Support GPS navigation system.

Various accessories, ISO adapter, antenna adapter, CAN adapters. Transition frame to facilitate the process of installing new equipment in the size of 2 din in a socket designed for a standard player.

And also a number of necessary (and not so) functions and modern options.

Brands of Chinese radio tape recorders with Android firmware

At its core, brands produced in China are a whole, separate topic for conversation. But in short, reading on numerous forums on the Internet, reviews of Chinese radios on Android, this species products can be divided into three categories:

  1. Car radios of well-known world manufacturers, produced at factories located in China, under the full control of all technological process the owner of this trademark. These include such popular audio equipment companies for passenger cars as:
  • The Finnish company VLC-Electronics Oy Ltd, better known under the brand name VELAS.
  • Japanese company SUPRA.
  • Pioneer Company.
  • And a number of firms with no less big names. Which by the way does not exempt these products from the label, yellow, Chinese assembly.
  1. Chinese copies of car radio manufacturers of famous European and world brands. The situation that has developed in this category of goods (radio tape recorders) can hardly be called unambiguous. For the simple reason that the chances of acquiring, say, a car player from Royal Philips Electronics, made in the factory in compliance with all technical standards, are approximately equal to the possible purchase of a radio tape recorder made in artisanal conditions. The only consolation in this case is that you are the owner of an exclusive piece of plastic that cannot be repaired.
  2. Audio equipment designed and built directly in China. For often separate Chinese brands deserve a lot good reviews not only from their users, but also from people who are professionally versed in this matter. Significantly differing in its cost (downward) even from devices from the first category, such music reproducing equipment is in no way inferior to it and even surpasses it in certain parameters. This effect is achieved by Chinese industrialists through a flexible and quick response to the needs of the global automotive equipment market and the constant introduction of all the know-how and innovations existing at that time into the production process. Moreover, it is possible to flash a Chinese radio tape recorder on Android, in contrast to the products of world brand leaders, completely free of charge. Just by turning to the official website of the company - the manufacturer of the device, on which all existing on this moment firmware with an application to them detailed instructions for the user and factory access codes to the software.

These brands include:

  • Manufacturer of car radios and car accessories Phantom
  • Navi Pilot.
  • Daystar.
  • redpower.
  • MyDean.

At least in Russia they are sold under these names.

The growing popularity of inexpensive, but high-quality multifunctional car players on the Android OS, contributes to the widespread opening of warranty workshops, in which you can easily repair Chinese radio receivers on Android.

Recommendations for the purchase of Chinese-made radio tape recorders

In the event that a purchase is made through an online store, first of all, read the reviews of people who have already bought this brand of car radio in this particular store. This is necessary in order to avoid fraud, often practiced by the seller when the client receives the goods.

That is, instead of music player manufactured in China under license from a well-known manufacturer or an original Chinese factory brand, you will most likely be handed a crappy copy made by no one knows how or by whom. With a complete external resemblance to the original. Also check the availability and operability of all the options declared in the technical passport of the device.

Do not strive to own a radio with a loud name. Almost all of their productions are taken out on the territory of third countries, so there is no point in overpaying only for a well-known set of letters. And specifications and the functionality of all modern radios with Android firmware is the same, with rare exceptions related to expensive luxury models.
