ONE is a brand new playlist that deserves your attention. It can be classified as “general” because it contains: movie, music, entertainment, sports and other TV channels.
IPTV HD
Another self-updating playlist from the team at iptvm3u.ru. Its main difference from all the others is that all channels are in HD and FHD quality. This playlist is updated 2 times a day by a software robot that collects HD links from the entire network. On the one hand, it’s good, everything is of excellent quality, but on the other hand there are a lot of garbage channels. In any case, I recommend trying this m3u list:
Playlist from smarttvnews.ru
This is probably one of the oldest playlists you can find. It has been working for a long time and will probably work for just as long. Updates do not occur as often as we would like, but the playlist contains good TV channels and simply must be on this list.
Playlist from SmartTVapp.ru
A very old playlist that worked poorly for a while, but then everything resumed, and I decided to add it to this collection. Apparently, the Admin is collecting it according to the principle “Less is better, but better.” Indeed, the list is up to 300 channels, but all are good: films, cartoons, educational, federal... I resisted making such a playlist for a long time because the “children’s” category is in every updated playlist. The number of requests during the existence of the blog has grown so much that I was forced to make a playlist of children's channels.

I can’t say that this is a cool and free playlist, because... is a new site that provides free self-updating playlists. As stated on the website, “daily updates at 21:00.” I checked several times after the update and there were 70-85% working links, which is pretty good.

All people who use software players to listen to music or watch videos have come across the concept of playlists. What a playlist is, its purpose, creation and editing will be discussed further. At the same time, we will not limit ourselves only to music or videos, because the interpretation of the term itself is much broader.
What is a playlist in the broadest sense?
To understand what a playlist is, you just need to start from its English-language counterpart. If you simply translate the two components of the word: Play and List, it will immediately become clear that this is, in fact, a kind of playlist, that is, a set of files or Internet links that are to be played.
In this case, it does not matter at all whether you are supposed to listen to music or watch videos from files located on local computer or located on the Internet. But the question of what a playlist is on the Internet often has a broader interpretation. The fact is that in such lists, in addition to music and video, there may also be sets of Internet television or Internet radio channels.
How to create a playlist in any software player?
First, let's consider the situation when the files that need to be included in the list are located on the user terminal (on the computer's hard drive or on removable media). The proposed technique is perfect for any mobile devices.
To organize your own list with a set playback order, use software players ( Windows Media Player, WinAmp, AIMP, VLC Media Player, JetAudio, etc.). Which player is used for playback does not matter.
The question of how to create a playlist is solved quite simply in any such program. In the player itself, you should find the Playlist menu and use the buttons for adding components to the future list. As a rule, you can add separate files or entire folders (or even disk partitions). However, if you add files without setting a specific sorting criterion (by type, by name, by size, etc.), the order will correspond to the one used when selecting them.
On the contrary, folders in which the numbering of tracks and videos is set will have the corresponding numerical order in such a list. You can, of course, set a random playback order, in which tracks or videos will be selected randomly from the list, but this is not always convenient.
Editing a list
Now let's see how to edit a playlist to set your own playback order.
In the very simple case you can simply remove it from the list unnecessary files and add them again to the end of the playlist. But this is inconvenient and time-consuming (you will have to add files one at a time). It is much easier to use the selection of an element with the right or left mouse button (depending on the player) and moving it up or down and placing it in the desired position while holding down the manipulator button. After this, you will need to save the playlist again (usually this is the standard combination Ctrl + S).
IPTV, Torrent-TV: playlists of channels and programs
For Internet television, you can use a playlist of channels that you want to watch. Again, for playback you can use both regular and specialized players like TV Player Classic (for IPTV).
If you use free playlists for Internet television based on torrent technologies, standard programs won't fit. In this case, you will have to install a special utility on your computer. Ace Stream with the appropriate player, without which playback will be impossible.
Since TV applications, by and large, also belong to software players, the principles of creating and editing playlists are practically no different from standard actions.
How to use playlists on the Internet?
It is for Internet TV that you should pay attention to one important nuance: usually free playlists are updated automatically when opened and loaded into the corresponding player, but sometimes (as, for example, for ForkPlayer) this must be done manually.
When using ForkPlayer on Smart-TV, the playlist must first be downloaded to the device or saved in your “Personal Account”.
When you want to listen to music on a corresponding resource on the Internet, there is basically no need to save the playlist on the device. With an active connection, simply load it into the player (either installed on your computer or mobile device, or into the player on the site itself).
Finally, a few words about what a YouTube playlist is and how to create one. Basically, it's the same playlist, but organized according to slightly different principles.
You can create a playlist either at home page, using the appropriate menu, or in the “Creative Studio”, where the video manager tab is used.
- open - the list is available to all hosting users;
- access via link - only for those with whom the user shares a link to the list;
- limited - viewing only for the user himself.
Additionally, you can use the auto-add tab, when the watched video, when you set a certain tag or phrase in the video description, will automatically be added to the desired list.

Uninitiated users may have some difficulties with playlists for IPTV or YouTube, but if you spend a little time and understand the settings, in this case nothing will be particularly difficult.
However, when working with software players, depending on the developer and the specifics of the player, temporary difficulties may also arise (for example, in mastering the interface or menu sections), but in general, all the principles embedded in them are very similar to each other and can differ only in small details.

And it doesn’t matter what it is: a house, a refrigerator, tools, a website, etc. For example, when you run your own website or blog, it is advisable to write articles under a specific heading or category. For example, I put all the lessons that I have related to Photoshop in the appropriate section. Thus, you can always click purely on this section and see articles only on Photoshop. Convenient, isn't it?
So on YouTube, playlists are responsible for the function of categories. You simply package your videos into various categories for greater convenience. For example, on my videos I also post videos in separate playlists, for example the same lessons on Photoshop and social networks. As a result, a person can select the desired playlist and watch all the videos exclusively from it.
How to make a playlist on YouTube?
In order to make a new playlist, you need to click on "My Channel" and then click on the "Playlists" tab. All your playlists will be displayed there, and at the same time one will already be created from the videos you like. If you want to create a new playlist, you will need to click on the corresponding button and select with which it will be accessible.
- Open access - the clip will be available to absolutely anyone, will be displayed in searches, etc.
- Limited access - you choose the people who will see your video.
- Access via link - the video will not be in open access, but it can be viewed by anyone who follows the link to it. This way you can send such links to your friends.
How to add a video to a playlist
To add a new video to the playlist, you will need to specify the appropriate item when loading. And again, you will have a choice: add a video to an existing playlist, or create a new one. In addition, you can add one video to several sheets.
And if suddenly you want to move the video to another list, or simply add it, then there won’t be anything complicated either. Just launch it, and right below it click on the “Add +” button. You will see the same window as in the previous example, i.e. you will need to choose where to place this video. I have a video about how to remove an unnecessary object in Photoshop, recorded a long time ago, but not yet defined, so I refer it to other videos on Photoshop.
Now everything is perfectly structured and in its place.
Automatically adding new videos to the playlist
The most famous video hosting site in the world has an amazing feature where you don't have to distribute anything. The videos themselves will be added to the desired categories you created. The function is responsible for this "Auto-add".
In order to do this trick, you will need to go back to “My Channel” - “Playlists”. After that, select any playlist that you want to set to auto-add. Done? Great!
Now select the item "Playlist settings", then select the tab in the window that opens "Auto-add". And of course, click on the only available button "Add Rule".
Now choose what this rule will pay attention to. For example, I set the “Name” parameter and write the word “photoshop”. Now every new video that contains this word in the title will be included in the playlist I need, that is, in Photoshop lessons. Great, right?
Well, if you suddenly change your mind and want to delete the playlist, then no one will interfere with you. This is very easy to do, but the feature is a little hidden. You again need to go to “My Channel” - “Playlists”, then click on the three dots that are located with right side. Well, then select the appropriate item "Delete playlist".

How to get rid of gibberish and hieroglyphs in the structure of an IPTV M3U playlist
To avoid the appearance of hieroglyphs in channel names when viewing an IPTV playlist, you need to use UTF-8 encoding. The UTF-8 encoding makes it possible to display characters in almost all languages of the world. And the channels will be readable!
Correction of IPTV playlist in UTF-8 encoding
Correcting the encoding in UTF-8 is quite simple; for this we need to open the iptv playlist using the Notepad application. Click on the playlist file right click mouse, a menu for selecting actions appears. Select the “Open with” tab and if you don’t see the “Notepad” application in the menu that opens, then click “Select another application”.
After this, select the desired program from the list provided.

Now the most important thing is to select UTF-8 in the “Encoding” tab and feel free to save the file under the name you want and in the right place.
#EXTINF - extended information about IPTV playlist streams
There is an unknown word in the playlist file #EXTINF, but this is an indicator for an application that will display iptv channels on a computer or smartphone. This indicator tells the application about the media that will be displayed using this playlist. In fact #EXTINF stand for Extended information or Extended information. In most cases #EXTINF contains 2 parameters.
The first is the duration of the media file; in the iptv playlist this parameter is “-1”. Minus one means that the length of the media file is unknown and will be played while the data is received.
The second is the name of the media file stream, or simply the name of the channel.
There are also several more parameters:
“tvg-logo” - logo of the media file or stream being played
“audio-track” - audio track, usually if there are several of them and their selection is possible
“group-title” - designates a group of streams and media files according to criteria (Children’s, Educational and News)
