The Chinese industrial group Hisense is the world's largest manufacturer of household and industrial appliances. The company is engaged in the production of ducted air conditioners, premium models, household Hisense multi-split systems. In the Russian market, the products of this brand appeared in the early 2000s and won the trust of customers with their quality, assortment and affordable prices.

NEO Premium Classic A series

The flagship of the company can be considered the Neo Premium classic A line of air conditioners. This is the second generation of models without an inverter, which is distinguished by good technical and operational qualities. To optimize costs, a system was developed to reduce electricity consumption, almost all functions are fully automated.

The type of indoor unit is classic, with rounded edges. The digital LED indicator is located behind a translucent plastic, which does not interfere with reading the readings. The Neo Premium classic A series differs from the standard budget models in the soundproofing of the outdoor unit - it works much quieter than conventional air conditioners.

Features of Hisense Neo Classic A:

  • fully automatic blinds with the possibility of remote adjustment of their position;
  • Toshiba compressor, which provides the proper rate of compression of the refrigerant, emits a minimum of noise during operation;
  • a complete set of filter elements of the neo model.

In fact, the classic refers to the type of budget air conditioners, but at the same time, the multi-split system has good performance indicators, ease of maintenance and intuitive settings. In the photo, the design of the indoor unit is close to the standard one, which makes it possible to fit it into any interior of a living room.

The user must clean the installed air filters himself. To do this, you need to remove the front panel of the indoor unit, after de-energizing the Hisense wall-mounted air conditioner.

Smart DC Inverter Series

For greater energy savings and improved performance, the company has developed inverter air conditioner Hisense Smart DC Inverter. Models have an expanded range of power parameters - from 7K to 24K. Also, systems for intelligent adjustment of current indicators are used.

The design of the Hisense indoor unit split system remained recognizable, the design of the components and their functionality have changed. The buyer can choose only one color - white. Japanese outdoor unit compressor - Toshiba. Unlike ducted air conditioners, models can serve only one room.

Advantages of Hisense Smart DC Inverter multi split system:

  • the optimal step for the cooling performance of the Hisense air conditioner is 0.5 kW;
  • Hisense inverter split systems have improved air filtration;
  • the "Smart" function will allow you to set the operating mode at the user's location;
  • changing the position of the blinds in the horizontal and vertical plane.

Another advantage is the price - Hisense air conditioners in this series cost from 21,000 rubles. When choosing, it is important to pay attention to the first two characters - vrv or vrf indicate the absence inverter system. Intelligent and energy-saving climate control systems are designated by the letters AS.

To set up a Hisense multi-split system, you need to read the recommendations from the manufacturer. There should be no obstacles in the way of the air flow, the angle of rotation of the blinds is additionally taken into account.

Overview of additional series

To increase the range, the manufacturer has developed several collections that differ from those described above only in design and size. So, you can purchase a Hisense wall-mounted air conditioner with a minimum thickness of the indoor unit, which is important for small rooms. A ducted air conditioner or its more powerful counterparts, Hisense column air conditioners, do not have such a variety.

The difference between the models is appearance, absence or presence additional features. The choice of such systems is relevant if the design of the Hisense AS air conditioner is not suitable for the interior of the room. To do this, the company has developed several series that differ not only in shape, but also in color solutions.

The most interesting models:

  • Hisense Premium FUTURE Design DC Inverter wall mounted air conditioner. It features a rounded shape of the indoor unit body and elegant colored inserts along its edges. The Mirage display is not highlighted when turned off.
  • BLACK Star DC Inverter. The form is exactly the same Smart series DC except for the body color which is black. Functions and specifications remained the same.
  • Premium Slim Design Super DC Inverter. The thickness of the case is 11.3 cm. At the same time, the maximum set of options has been preserved. The color of the block is cream. It is also possible to work with significant voltage drops. The minimum indicator is 175 V.

The table shows the main characteristics of inverter and simple models Hysens.

Instructions for the control panel and Hisense air conditioners

To control the operation of the air conditioner, the manufacturer has developed a convenient remote control. The location of the buttons on it allows you to quickly change the current mode of the climate system, the data on the liquid crystal display shows the parameter values. The only downside is the small screen size.

For ease of operation, the user can select the following functions:

  • Cooling mode with set temperature. Some models provide control of a certain zone in the room.
  • Ability to choose how to adjust the air conditioner - manually or automatic mode. In the latter case, the system will change the parameters itself, depending on the air temperature in the street and in the room.
  • Detailed instructions on how to adjust the multi-split system - setting for heat, ventilation or cooling.

It should be remembered that to reset the settings, it is not enough just to turn off and then turn on the remote control - they are saved automatically.

When servicing an air conditioner, it is important to know what type of refrigerant must be added to the system. Most models are compatible with R410A freon. It must not be mixed with other refrigerants as it may cause damage.

Hisense Air Conditioner Error Codes

When properly installed and maintained, the air conditioning system is less likely to fail. It will work for both cooling and heating. The main advantage of air conditioners of this brand is their reliability. But, like any other equipment, climate equipment can fail, malfunctions will appear.

Below you can find instructions for maintenance and self-elimination small defects.

It is forbidden to carry out repairs in any form in the presence of the following faults:

  • a sharp drop in performance;
  • appearance excessively a large number condensation on the indoor unit;
  • noise increase;
  • fan failure;
  • loss of tightness of pipelines.

Previously, you can familiarize yourself with the error codes for the indoor unit. If faults occur, they will appear on the display or remote control.

To display error codes on the display, press the “Sleep” button 10 times. This feature is not available on older models.

4D AUTO Air
Vertical and horizontal automatic air flow distribution, the possibility of full-volume air distribution throughout the room with no "stagnant" zones, or precise redirection to the required point

Thanks to the MIRAGE display function, when the air conditioner is off, the display is not visible on the front panel. This creates a more modern and stylish look to the front of the unit.

Smart mode - Smart mode

A convenient mode for cases of a sharp drop in temperature outside during the day, or for users who do not want to think about choosing the operating mode of the air conditioner. It is enough to select the desired room temperature and SMART mode, and a special free logic algorithm will determine the operating mode of the air conditioner and the best fan mode settings.

Function I FEEL

A temperature sensor is installed in the HISENSE remote control, thanks to which it is possible to more accurately maintain the temperature in the room, directly at the location of people.

energy efficiency

The energy efficiency of equipment is becoming more and more important every year. If earlier high values of this indicator indicated the quality of equipment and a high technological level, now, with the increase in electricity tariffs, energy efficiency is becoming an important economic factor when making a purchase decision, as it directly affects the additional costs associated with the operation of the air conditioner. At the moment in different countries There are several classifications of energy efficiency of separate type air conditioning systems (split systems).

Russian classification of energy efficiency of air conditioners

The classification currently used in Russia is similar to the European one that was used before January 1, 2013. The Russian classification system is quite simple and understandable - it takes into account the direct ratio of the generated cooling or heating power to the electricity consumed when operating in the nominal mode. For cooling and heating modes, the values of this coefficient are different. To determine the energy efficiency class in cooling mode, it is necessary to take the rated cooling capacity, divide by the nominal value of energy consumption in cooling mode, compare the resulting value with the table and understand which class the air conditioner belongs to. This indicator is called EER - Energy Efficiency Ratio - The coefficient of energy efficiency of the system in cooling mode. A similar calculation is made for the heating mode. The coefficient showing efficiency in heating mode is called COP - Coefficient of Performance - performance coefficient in heating mode. All equipment, in accordance with the rules, must be marked with a clear color sticker indicating the class.

European Union Air Conditioner Energy Efficiency Classification

In Europe, since January 1, 2013, a complex system for determining the energy efficiency of air conditioners has been adopted. Her methodology is based on the fact that the air conditioner does not work all the time in nominal mode, that is, with a full load. Most of the time, the air conditioner operates at partial load, which means that the ratio of cold (or heat) produced does not correspond to the nominal values. This technique has the greatest practical meaning for air conditioners using inverter control technology, that is, air conditioners that can smoothly change their power, adjusting to the required partial load. It involves measuring the ratio of the produced cold (heat) to the corresponding energy consumption at 4 different loads. After that, weight coefficients are applied to the obtained values, showing the frequency of operation of the air conditioner in this mode, then the obtained values are summarized. Since air temperatures differ throughout the year in different climatic zones, different weight coefficients were introduced for different territories.

The European Union was divided into 3 climatic zones, with similar temperature indicators throughout the year.

The new method shows the seasonal energy efficiency of an air conditioner.

For cooling mode, this is the SEER - Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio - seasonal coefficient of energy efficiency of the system in cooling mode. For the heating mode, this is the SCOP indicator - Seasonal Coefficient of Performance - the seasonal coefficient of performance of the system in heating mode.

At the same time, it must be understood that the technique does not directly show the ratio of consumed electricity and output power, but serves to correlate various air conditioners with each other. In addition, measurements of these indicators must be carried out by certified laboratories, since they cannot be directly verified by consumers.

Low Noise - Quiet Mode

The design of the indoor unit has been optimized, including:
. a new design of the fan impeller of increased diameter with a new shape of the blades,
. low noise motors
. a specially designed aerodynamic solution for the entire air channel, starting from the air intake grille, continuing it through the heat exchanger of an improved design, the shape of the air nozzle and the special shape of the louvre.

All this made it possible to reduce the noise level of the indoor unit to extremely low values, which for premium models are 22 dB (A) in low noise mode.

ULTRA Hi Density Filter

The ULTRA Hi Density filter is a new generation high purity filter. Compared to a conventional dust filter, the high-purity filter removes more than 90% of dust and other particles from indoor air. The filter is simply cleaned of contaminants under running water.

Additional filters

LTC filter
LTC filter or formaldehyde filter removes harmful organic compounds from the room.

carbon filter
Since charcoal is an excellent absorbent, this type of filter effectively absorbs odors and many types of chemicals.

Photocatalytic filter
Filters of this type are able to effectively oxidize and destroy molecules of chemical compounds, odors, as well as viruses, bacteria, fungal spores and other pollutants of organic origin. The filter can be quickly restored by keeping it in the sun for 6-8 hours after 3-4 months of operation.

Silver Ion filter
The air flow passing through this filter is cleaned with silver ions, which are able to prevent the appearance of germs and bacteria. In addition, the remaining silver ions are carried by the air flow into the room, retain fine dust particles, thereby continuing to disinfect the air.

HEPA filter
The HEPA filter is a super high-purity filter, as it effectively traps the smallest elements of dust, allergens, pollen and a number of others.

Negative Ion Filter
The Negative Ion filter produces negatively charged ions, which, in addition to having a positive effect on the body, are actively involved in the process of air purification. They transfer the charge to the dust particles, which begin to attract each other and form larger particles, increasing the efficiency of air purification.

Protective cover for outdoor unit valves

Hisense split systems are supplied with a protective overlay for the valves of the outdoor unit. This prevents the impact of atmospheric precipitation on important connections and increases the reliability of operation.

Self cleaning function

A special algorithm for the operation of the air conditioner after turning it off leaves the fan of the indoor unit in working condition for some time. This allows you to dry the heat exchanger from the condensate that forms during operation.

State-of-the-art self-adaptive BLDC control technology for compressor motors

State-of-the-art self-adapting BLDC compressor motor control technology helps air conditioners run quieter and more efficiently.

Combination of BLDC motor (brushless motor direct current) with new control algorithms make it possible to achieve:
. low noise
. high performance
. a higher level of stability and service life

Intelligent PFC control technology

PFC control technology can maintain the required voltage when it needs to be compensated in case of low mains voltage.

The air conditioner control system independently turns this function on or off.

The PFC works according to the current supply voltage conditions so that the operation continues to be as efficient as possible when the voltage is not stable.

The operating voltage range becomes increased, it may differ from the nominal voltage by 20%.

Starting and torque compensation technology at low frequencies

According to the compressor load curve, HISENSE developed low frequency torque compensation technology.

This technology improves the stability of the compressor at low frequency, reduces the vibration of the compressor, and extends the operation range at low frequency to 10Hz, which expands the compressor's power range.

Nonlinear Magnetic Control Technology

The unique non-linear magnetic control technology developed by HISENSE can operate at high frequency under high load conditions, in a wider frequency range to ensure greater cooling/heating capacity.

FULL 3-DC INVERTER technology (Super DC Inverter HISENSE)

HISENSE Premium DC Inverter air conditioning systems use FULL 3-DC INVERTER technology.

It includes not only the use of a DC INVERTER compressor for maximum efficiency, but also all components produced using DC INVERTER technology.

First of all, these are the fan motors of the external and internal blocks. Full inverter control of all elements of the air conditioner allows not only to create the most quiet and comfortable air conditioner, but also to make it as energy efficient as possible, which is confirmed by the European seasonal energy efficiency class A ++.

Consumption in standby mode 1W - 1W Standby

Thanks to the improved design of the power supply, it has become possible to reduce the power consumption in standby mode to a uniquely low value - only 1 W. This means that when the air conditioner is turned off, it actually does not consume electricity to maintain itself in standby mode and to power the memory block where last settings.

Accurate room temperature control

HISENSE air conditioners of the Super DC Inverter and DC Inverter class give the user a new level of comfort.

The combination of all inverter power control technologies, the I FEEL function and HISENSE's special developments in the field of inverter control made it possible to make temperature maintenance even more accurate, even compared to conventional Inverter systems. This ensures that the temperature is kept as close as possible to the value set on the remote control.

Cold Plasma Ion Generator – Plasma air purification

Plasma air purification kills viruses and neutralizes toxic substances, prevents the spread of infectious diseases, removes dust and unpleasant odors, and creates the effect of fresh forest air in the room.

Sleep mode - sleep mode

HISENSE brings innovation to the now familiar Sleep Mode. The user is offered a choice of 4 different modes, each of which is characterized by different preset parameters.

We are talking about various automatic temperature maintenance settings that allow you to choose the most comfortable mode for different ages, for each individual person.

Intelligent defrosting system of the external unit Smart Defrost

In winter, during heating operation, ice forms on the heat exchanger of the outdoor unit.

To continue the operation of the system, it is necessary to carry out the defrosting procedure to normalize further operation.

As a standard, this issue is solved by turning on the defrosting mode by timer, which leads to a stop in the normal operation of the air conditioner even in cases where ice has not yet formed.

The intelligent Smart Defrost algorithm developed by HISENSE operates only when needed, which reduces energy consumption by eliminating unnecessary processes defrosting. This brings additional comfort in heating mode and reduces the defrost time.

Indoor unit fan

New development of HISENSE - asymmetric tangential fan. During its development, the latest achievements were applied not only in theoretical, but also in experimental aerodynamics, which made it possible to create a fan that is truly outstanding in its characteristics. The increased performance of the fan made it possible to reduce the speed of its rotation, which led to a decrease in noise from the engine, which began to rotate at a slower speed. At the same time, the air flow became more powerful and quieter.

Outdoor unit fan

The design efficiency of the outdoor unit fan is just as important as that of the indoor unit fan. Although the consumer does not notice his work, but it is the design of the fan of the external unit that is largely responsible for the energy efficiency of the air conditioning system as a whole. HISENSE has carried out special developments in this area. This made it possible to create a fan of a new, maximally aerodynamically efficient design.

Protection of components in the indoor unit

Protective metal box for electrical components in the indoor unit

International safety standard. Each air conditioner undergoes 52 validation tests, in accordance with US regulations, including the IEC test, to ensure the highest safety standards.

Fireproof plastic and connector

For the Super DC series and the Premium Classic A HISENSE series, flame retardant, safe plastic materials are used. In the event of a fire, these plastic materials will prevent the spread of flames.

Aluminum finning of complex profile heat exchangers

The aluminum plates used in the production of heat exchangers for HISENSE air conditioners are very different from the classic "smooth" version. They have a complex shape obtained by pressing, as well as additional notches of a special shape. This makes the heat exchange process much more efficient than the traditional one. Heat transfer occurs more quickly and evenly.

Additional coating of the GOLDEN FIN heat exchanger

This technology is applied to the aluminum plates of outdoor units.

The outer layer of aluminum tends to oxidize slowly, which changes the heat transfer efficiency over time, and also leads to faster surface contamination, which reduces heat transfer.

The GOLDEN FIN protective coating is a nanolayer of a special yellow plasticizer (hence its name), which gives the heat exchanger several additional properties at once.

It blocks the oxidation process, preserving the aluminum surface. The surface becomes much more “slippery”, so surface contamination is much slower.

The “slippery” surface increases the efficiency of work in the cold season in the heating mode, as it accelerates the removal of condensate and the efficiency of the “defrost” mode.

This coating makes the heat exchanger unit of the outdoor unit as resistant to aggressive environments as possible and is used, for example, for equipment supplied to coastal regions.

Use of copper tubes with internal fins

The heat exchangers for Hisense air conditioners are manufactured using specially designed copper tubes. Unlike standard tubes with a smooth inner surface, these tubes are internally finned.

This allows you to increase the heat exchange area and create an additional effect of turbulence inside the tubes, which in total significantly increases the efficiency of work.

This allows the use of smaller pipes, which reduces the amount of refrigerant in the air conditioner, and also allows the units to be made more compact without sacrificing energy efficiency.
