It is one of the most important tools for achieving effects. With this tool, you can create and change the transparency of objects: uniform, transitional (gradient) or texture.
There is interactive transparency, by default, on the left panel, an icon in the form of a glass. But usually the icon is hidden in a sub-menu of another icon - interactive shape flow. You can open the submenu by long-clicking on the icon. Here's where the transparency actually is:

Fast uniform transparency
Select the rectangle, on the toolbar find the "Transparency" icon (checkerboard icon). Use the slider below the rectangle to adjust the level of transparency you want. Everybody! To remove transparency, move the slider to the "0" position.
Adjusting Transparency Using the Object Properties Panel
Select the rectangle and go to the properties panel. Find the transparency icon already familiar to us there and click on it.
If you don't see the Properties panel, click Window, Dockers, and select Object Properties.
At the top of the properties window, you'll see a drop-down list of overlay types that control how the transparent object behaves in relation to the underlying one. Choose the appropriate type experimentally.
Below are six icons that you can click on:
Let's choose a gradient transparency. We have access to new functions of its settings. Select the type of gradient - linear, fountain, conical or rectangular.
With the help of the gradient scale, the transition is adjusted, it is also the sharpness of transparency.
By double-clicking on the gradient bar, you will get an additional adjustment point for it.
Pay attention to the three icons marked in the screenshot. With them, you can choose whether to apply transparency only to the fill, only the outline of the object, or both.
Staying in this mode, click the transparency button on the toolbar. You will see that an interactive gradient bar has appeared on the rectangle. Drag its extreme points to any area of the object so that the transparency changes the angle of its inclination and the sharpness of the transition.
