ADVIСE:
. Do not overcool the room. This is harmful to health and unnecessarily increases energy consumption.
. Close curtains or blinds if the air conditioning is running. Do not allow sunlight into the room with the air conditioner running.
. Control the direction of the vertical damper so that the room temperature is evenly distributed.
. Make sure windows and doors are tightly closed. Otherwise, cold air will leave the room.
. Clean the air filter regularly. A clogged filter reduces air flow and increases energy consumption.
. Do not forget to periodically ventilate the room. During operation of the air conditioner, the air is not renewed as during ventilation, so it is necessary to monitor this additionally.
. To quickly cool the room at the beginning of work, use a mode with increased fan speed.

Cleaning your air conditioner
Choose a stable foundation on which to stand. Be sure to unplug the plug from the outlet before cleaning. Do not use water hotter than 40 degrees, gasoline, or abrasive detergents - this can damage the appearance of the plastic.
Behind the front panel there are air filters. They should be checked and cleaned if necessary once a week. To remove dirt, you can use a vacuum cleaner; in cases where it is difficult to remove, you can wash the filter in warm water with the addition of liquid detergent. After washing, the filters should be dried in the shade (not in the sun).
PLASMA filters must be checked at least once every three months. Cleaning can be done with a vacuum cleaner or washed with water. They also cannot be dried in the sun. Do not touch this filter for the first 10 seconds after turning off the air conditioner.
Deodorizing filters must be removed, dried in the sun for 2 hours and put back in place.
Periodically inspect the external unit of the air conditioner and, if dirt appears, remove it, for which you can call an employee of the relevant company.
If you think there is a problem
The air conditioner doesn't work. Check whether it is connected to the power supply and whether the circuit breaker has blown. It is also possible that there is no power in the network or the voltage is too high (in the second case, the air conditioner protection will work)
The air conditioner does not cool properly. Check that there are no obstructions in the air path around the outdoor and indoor units. The air filter must be clean. When the temperature is too high, the air conditioner becomes less efficient. Also check that the windows and doors in the room are closed. The temperature may not be set correctly. There may be a heat source in the room.

ALWAYS contact the service center if:
. There was a burning smell and loud noise during operation. Immediately turn off the device and unplug it from the outlet;
. The power cord or plug is hot and is clearly damaged;
. when starting self-diagnosis, a fault code appears;
. water leaks from the indoor unit;
. faults in the operation of the circuit breaker are detected.

If the air conditioner will not be used for a long time
At the end of the season, the air conditioner must be prepared to be turned off. For what:
. clean the filters;
. turn on the heating mode for 1-2 hours to completely dry the indoor unit from the inside;
. turn off the air conditioner using the remote control;
. remove the batteries from the remote control;
. disconnect the plug from the power supply.

Before turning on after a long period of inactivity.
. Check that there are no obstacles to air movement around the external and internal units;
. install batteries in the remote control;
. set the time;
. connect the plug to the network.
Installation location and electrical work
The installation of the air conditioner must be carried out by certified specialists. Make sure that there are no obstacles to air movement at the intended installation site, that the operating noise of the external unit will not disturb those living nearby, and that it is possible to remove condensate from the external unit.

Precautionary measures
Use a power plug and a grounded socket. Do not connect the air conditioner to a lower rated outlet. Do not use an extension cord—plug directly into an outlet. Do not use a damaged plug or power cord. The power cord and plug must be handled with dry hands.
Do not stand on your own or place heavy or hard objects on the power cord.
It is prohibited to disassemble, repair, or modify the device yourself. For any repair work you need to invite a specialist.
Make sure the mounting posts are intact and intact. The outdoor unit must be securely fixed to prevent it from falling.
Do not place objects on the outer or inner units, especially those with water (for example, a vase with water).
Do not insert your fingers or any other objects into the service openings of the air conditioner. The fan runs at high speed, which may cause injury.
If your air conditioner stops cooling or heating, this may indicate a refrigerant leak. In this case, it is necessary to call repair specialists.
Do not stand in the path of cold air, as this may harm your health.

For several decades, the giant of the global home appliance industry LG has been providing the market with excellent equipment in the field of climate control, which is tested in several stages and only after that goes on sale. Any LG air conditioner is a device that exceeds expectations and many modern technologies according to its characteristics and functionality.

The company's products include many series of household climate control appliances, both industrial and semi-industrial, which will be discussed further.

LG split systems: model range, features, technical specifications

Recently, the manufacturer has focused its attention on LG inverter air conditioners, as they are in greatest demand among buyers. What attracts people to this climate control technology? First of all, their performance characteristics. Thanks to the inverter method of controlling the compressor, these devices save energy consumption by up to 60%. Most of the new lines of LG inverter split air conditioners are equipped with the JET COOL instant cooling function, which allows you to change the room temperature in just 5 minutes.

Another significant plus is a significant reduction in humidity. Thanks to the use of a compressor latest generation it occurs without unnecessary hypothermia of the room.

Wall mounted lg air conditioners

LG's ART COOL series air conditioners have become the most popular recently. In addition to the above-mentioned characteristics, these devices have many advantages and disadvantages:

  • Multi-level air purification system – antibacterial plasma, antiviral, anti-allergenic, deodorizing filters + automatic cleaning;
  • Bold design decisions in terms of appearance air conditioning devices. LG ART COOL GALLERY air conditioners have a decorative front panel in the form of a picture with changing images. And ART COOL STYLIST is equipped LED backlit with 26 different colors;
  • Noise level. All inverter air conditioners LG wall-mounted ones are quite quiet. A model series ART COOL STYLIST, SLIM and MEGA have a noise level of only 19 dB due to the streamlined fan design, which ensures uniform air outlet from the device;
  • Volumetric distribution of air flows through guide flaps with 6 different vertical positions and 5 horizontal positions for ART COOL MEGA;
  • All LG ART COOL air conditioners are much easier to install on the wall due to the simplified design of the internal module panels.
  • But not only LG inverter-type air conditioners have positive characteristics and convenient options. Not inverter models, such as STANDARD, STANDARD RETAIL and PLASMA are distinguished by fast and uniform cooling, night mode (STANDARD), automatic cleaning of the heat exchanger cavities from mold, dust and germs (PLASMA) and convenient control.

    Cassette air conditioner lg

    LG cassette-type inverter and standard split systems can effectively serve both household premises with high ceilings and an area of up to 150 m², as well as semi-industrial or administrative buildings.

    To install the indoor unit, you will need a suspended ceiling structure, in one of the squares of which all communications and the device itself will be hidden, maintaining the integrity of the interior.

    From LG cassette air conditioners Both standard and inverter models have good power ratings, efficient energy consumption, increased pipeline length, and a technologically advanced and compact design of the decorative distribution grid.

    The lg cassette air conditioner has one undeniable advantage - high-quality air distribution on four sides. This is ensured by a modernized blind device. They became longer and narrower. The angle of inclination and speed of movement of each guide are easily adjustable. You can manually control the airflow intensity and set values relative to the ceiling height.

    It is worth remembering that the minimum distance between the ceiling and the false ceiling structure should be 25 cm, this is written in the instructions.

    Duct split systems

    All LG duct air conditioners are characterized by ease of installation, reduced noise levels due to the fan design described above, and an economical approach to energy consumption.

    This climate system can be installed in any building with many rooms ranging from 25 to 160 m², without disturbing the overall appearance. What is characteristic of LG duct air conditioners is their independence from the architectural nuances of the room and the number of communications.

    The main advantage is the simultaneous cooling of up to 4 rooms with one block due to branching air ducts + the addition of air from the street. Thus, LG duct air conditioners can combine several rooms into one common system.

    The temperature is controlled by two sensors, one of which is built into the internal module, and the second is located on the remote control. Adjusting the external static pressure helps to maintain normal noise levels and good performance at all times.

    Options such as zone control and a high-pressure drainage pump with a pressure of up to 700 mm make it possible to control the temperature in different rooms simultaneously and remove condensate from the system.

    Column split systems

    The internal block of such a split resembles a closet. The choice of this system is justified if the room has large volumes (up to 200 m²), and wall or ceiling installation is not possible due to its architectural features. At the same time, this installation can become a decorative element in an interior of a certain style.

    Unlike generally accepted standards for area parameters, LG column air conditioners are capable of handling, according to the instructions, a room of up to 280 m².

    The dimensions of LG column air conditioners exceed the dimensions of elements of other types of split systems, but at the same time they have the highest cooling capacity. Their advantages and features also include:

    • work in automatic mode;
    • microprocessor control;
    • electrostatic filter-dust collector;
    • highly efficient compressor;
    • automatic protection against voltage surges and failures;
    • self-diagnosis system;
    • additional modes such as “Comfortable sleep”.

    LG column air conditioners provide an efficient air supply: its strongest flow is directed first from the internal module upward, then reflected from the ceiling and distributed evenly throughout the room.

    But it is worth remembering that the presence of a person near such a device when it is working for cooling can create a threat of colds.

    Floor-ceiling split systems

    Internal modules of LG floor-ceiling air conditioners are successfully installed both on the wall near the floor and on the ceiling space. The outdoor unit is connected to it via a copper route in the insulation. For low-power models, the power supply goes from internal to external, while for others it is the other way around. LG produces both inverter and standard air conditioner models of this type. Room area values can vary from 25 to 280 m².

    If the shape of the room is more elongated, then a single-flow split is installed, in other cases - a multi-flow split.

    By the way, some floor-ceiling splits can take in small volumes of air outside the room.

    The airflow occurs parallel to the floor or along the ceiling, which eliminates the formation of drafts and excessive cooling of the floor. It cannot be said that all splits of this type operate silently, but among devices that process an area of up to 50 m², there are models whose noise level is only 20 dB. Most air conditioners are equipped with an ionizer, plasma, dust, nano-silver and vitamin C filters, which provide a complete antimicrobial treatment.

    Additional functionality is varied: turbo mode, automatic restart with repeating the set program until the power is turned off, enhanced dehumidification in humid weather and a comfortable sleep mode with automatic lowering/increasing the temperature for the first two hours of operation.

    Mobile and window installations LG

    Like all other manufacturers, LG offers several lines of mobile and window air conditioners, which used to be almost the only salvation for people.

    Unlike splits, LG mobile air conditioners do not require special installation and are a monoblock with an air outlet for heat removal, placed in a window (window) or hole in the wall. Such structures can be moved, if necessary, to other premises.

    In addition to cooling, the LG mobile air conditioner also dehumidifies, ventilates and warms the air. It has a multi-stage filtration system and additional modes - a daily timer and a comfortable night's sleep.

    LG window air conditioners are in demand no less than in the old days. This is due to their low cost and ease of installation. Typically, such a device is a monoblock placed in a window opening. Its noise values significantly exceed those of split systems, but at the same time it provides a constant flow of fresh air.

    The LG window-type air conditioner only cools small rooms, the area of which does not exceed 25 m².

    LG multi-split systems

    In air conditioning office, administrative and similar buildings with an increased area, where several adjacent rooms are located in one building, multi-split units are used.

    LG multi-splits have internal modules that maintain specified air parameters independently of others included in the system, and are controlled by a separate remote control. This happens due to the fact that each compressor serves only its own block or group of modules and is equipped with a separate refrigeration circuit. Loop condensers are a heat exchange unit processed by one fan, but with a separate freon circulation. That is why internal modules do not depend on one another and easily operate in different modes.

    Up to 9 indoor units can be connected to one LG outdoor unit. LG multi-split systems have maximum performance up to 16.4 kW.

    It is worth considering that the modules must operate simultaneously either only for heat or only for cold.

    LG multi-splits have:

    • neat dimensions;
    • long route length (extended installation capabilities);
    • quiet operation;
    • good energy efficiency indicators due to inverter technologies;
    • extended range of operating temperatures and their prompt adjustment;
    • several fan speeds;
    • filtration purification in several stages;
    • self-cleaning of the system;
    • additional functionality to create comfortable conditions during rest or when the device is stopped.

    Since the model ranges of both internal and external modules are quite diverse, they can be combined, creating more than 150 options, each of which will work taking into account the characteristics of a particular room.

    LG multizone systems

    In the air conditioning of large multi-storey buildings, LG MULTI V multi-zone systems are used, which combine all the latest technologies electronic control and design.

    In this inverter type system it is possible to one external unit connect up to several dozen internal VRV modules, the total power of which will reach several hundred kW. They, in turn, work independently of each other. This installation is based on economical variable refrigerant technology, which allows you to intelligently distribute the resource depending on the needs of any room.

    A significant advantage is the unified network of freon pipes, which simplifies installation and significantly saves energy consumption. The increased length of the route up to 200 m with differences of up to 100 m allows you to install system elements without taking into account the location of a particular module.

    LG MULTI V is a new opportunity in the field of control, which can be carried out both from individual remote controls and from a centralized remote control system.

    Reliability, energy efficiency, performance, environmental friendliness, multi-stage filtration system, many automatic functions and comfort are the main advantages of LG MULTI V.

    Instructions for LG air conditioners and remote controls

    Each LG air conditioner comes with a separate instruction manual. It includes several sections:

    • precautions and electrical safety;
    • general information about the product;
    • a manual for using the device, which includes a description of operation and a remote control for the lg air conditioner;
    • care and maintenance.

    Basically, the instructions for the LG air conditioner contain information for installers regarding installation, connection and commissioning of the device.

    For users, the main interest is the section devoted to the remote control instructions for LG air conditioners. Reading this information gives you an idea of the settings of the main modes, functions and options. How to control the dampers, how to set the time, how to activate the “SMART CLEAN” option and other operating points are described in the instructions for the LG air conditioner remote control in detail and clearly.

    First of all, you need to look at the explanation of the buttons on the remote control panel. The wireless remote control for the lg air conditioner has approximately the following set of keys:

    • ON/OFF– startup/shutdown of the device;
    • FAN SPEED– fan speed control;
    • MODE– selection of modes;
    • PLASMA– turning on the air purification mode;
    • JET COOL– enabling accelerated cooling mode;
    • TEMP– decrease/increase in air temperature;
    • AIR FLOW– direction of air flows;
    • TIME– setting the time;
    • SET– activate;
    • CLEAR– clean.

    In addition to buttons with letter designations, LG air conditioners also have keys with figurative symbols on the remote control. For example, a lit light means adjusting the brightness of the display, and a button with a picture of a thermometer inside the house will, when pressed, display the temperature outside.

    Each model from any line of devices has separate instructions for the remote control for the lg air conditioner, so using one booklet for all of them is impossible due to some of their functional and technical differences.

    Electrical diagrams of LG air conditioners

    The kit should include not only instructions for the LG air conditioner remote control and an instruction manual, but also service documentation, in which you can find information on error codes and this manufacturer. This diagram shows all the components of the device and the supplied communications, that is, connections.

    When connecting, installers focus specifically on the electrical diagram of the LG air conditioner, since it is the main document of the device. Approximately 20% of breakdowns of such equipment are associated with improper implementation of this process - the use of a network not designed for heavy loads and poorly installed electrical wiring.

    All circuit diagrams are different from each other. A single document for all elements climate control technology no, because some may have components that others do not.

    Where can I find electrical circuits for LG air conditioners, if they were not included in the package? They are available in service centers and official dealers of the company. You must contact them and make a request to receive this technical documentation.

    LG air conditioner repair

    Sooner or later, any air conditioner can fail. The user will be helped in time to navigate the errors of LG air conditioners (in other words, error codes), which are displayed on the display of the device or on the remote control for the LG air conditioner in the event of any breakdown. A fault is also indicated by flashing LED lamp a certain number of times for each error. Indoor and outdoor units have generally accepted digital and letter designations totally different. For multi-split systems they differ from the values of conventional splits. There may be differences based on the type of split.

    For example, for the internal module of a split system short circuit or an open circuit of the air temperature sensor is transmitted by code 06, for an external one - 44.

    Complete information on errors in LG air conditioners is contained in the technical documentation that comes with the device, or in service center.

    Any breakdown involves calling specialists who diagnose the problem and, if necessary, repair LG air conditioners, carried out both on site and in the service center itself - depending on the complexity of the particular case. Among the most common reasons malfunctions of LG air conditioners, breakdowns stand out:

    • compressor;
    • fan motor;
    • control boards;
    • 4-way valve.

    In any case, repairs will require spare parts for the LG air conditioner, which in turn are much cheaper than buying a new device.

    To make it easier to look for this or that part, it is worth remembering that each spare part for an LG air conditioner has its own batch number. For example, the control board for LG v48lh has the number 6871A10025L, and the compressor for the LG air conditioner working with R22 freon is QP442PBD.

    Saving money also depends on high-quality diagnostics. Repairing the starting capacitor will cost much less than replacing an LG air conditioning compressor, since the price difference between these spare parts is very significant.

    Regular maintenance will help you avoid repairs to LG air conditioners, which includes a full range of preventive work to eliminate premature breakdowns - cleaning the drainage system, external module radiator, filter system, and so on. This is especially true for devices installed in places where people are very crowded.

One of the most useful inventions of the Age of Smart Machines is a home air conditioner, good for everyone: it will give you a blast of coolness in hot weather, warm you up in frosty weather, humidify the air and clean it of dust and allergens. In a word, buy, install and enjoy. Except with one caveat: just as in his time a car according to Henry Ford could be “any color, provided that this color was black,” so the design of the internal module of home air conditioners remained completely uniform for a long time - white or matte design, horizontal curtains, minimal deviations taking into account design nuances and varying power.

The idea of at least somehow diversifying the buyer's choice came to the minds of developers of home air conditioners quite recently. Various color options began to appear on sale - black, dark blue, mirror, etc. However, the boldest company in this regard was LG Electronics, which presented a series of completely unusual premium household air conditioners Art Cool Gallery.

The Art Cool Gallery Series Inverter Air Conditioners are strikingly different from any other offering in the market as they are designed like an elegant wall-mounted picture frame. Paintings, printed photographs or drawings can be changed as often as you like, changing the interior around you in unison with your mood or season. Special tempered glass used in the design external panel does not fade or lose its gloss for many years.

Currently, LG Electronics supplies two options from the Art Cool Gallery series to the Russian market. Model A09AW1 has a cooling capacity of up to 3500 Btu/h, a heating capacity of up to 14330 Btu/h, with a maximum power consumption of 830 W and 960 W, respectively. The maximum flow rate of external and internal air can reach 8 cubic meters. m and 26 cu. m, respectively.

More powerful model Art Cool Gallery A12AW1 has a cooling capacity of up to 4000 Btu/h, a heating capacity of up to 17060 Btu/h, with a maximum power consumption of 1090 W and 1160 W, respectively. The maximum flow rate of external and internal air can reach 10.5 cubic meters. m and 34 cu. m, respectively.

A special place in the list of numerous advantages of Art Cool air conditioners is occupied by ease of installation. The secret lies in a special removable bottom panel and a patented design of a special support, thanks to which one person can install the air conditioner and prepare it for operation. In addition, the entire installation process map is displayed directly on the surface of the mounting plate, so you don’t have to waste time studying the instructions.

The LG DC Inverter system, used in LG Art Cool air conditioners, allows you to achieve high operating efficiency and significant savings in electricity consumption, but its main advantage is almost complete noiselessness during operation: no more than 42 dB in the heaviest loaded mode and completely inaudible 19 dB in sleep mode. Such outstanding performance was achieved thanks to LG's patented Skew Fan technology, which minimizes pressure drops when the fan rotates.

A special place in the design of LG Art Cool air conditioners is occupied by the air purification system. They have a 4-stage system and includes an anti-allergenic filter, deodorization, antibacterial protection and automatic cleaning of residual moisture. For antibacterial protection, the LG Cyclotron Plasma filter is used, which purifies the air using electric and magnetic fields 30% more effectively than previous solutions. In addition to fighting the smallest particles of dirt and dust, the Plasma filter also stops microscopic biological components of polluted air, such as household mites, pollen and animal hair, thereby significantly reducing the risk of allergic diseases and asthma attacks.

But that is not all. Next, the next line of defense enters the fight against allergens, anti-allergenic and anti-viral filters based on allergen-absorbing enzymes and organic/inorganic links connecting the filter base with enzymes. Next comes the deodorizing filter, which in turn is composed of three sequential filters. This filter can prevent the penetration of dangerous volatile organics such as formaldehyde, as well as combat unpleasant odors.

Finally, automatic cleaning: the air conditioner will independently, in a timely manner and without your participation, remove moisture from the heat exchanger so that mold does not form or bacteria do not grow in it.

It only remains to add that the magnificent design of the indoor unit is complemented by an elegant display with white backlight, and the included compact remote control with an LCD display will allow you to configure any functions of the air conditioner, including operating modes and a timer.

The LG Art Cool Gallery series air conditioners cost, of course, somewhat more than similar solutions with similar operational characteristics, but for high-quality care for the health of household members, and even in such a stylish design that can decorate any home, it’s not a sin to overpay.

- Do you want a picture that will give you coolness? Then this conditioner is for you!

Advantages: Modern design, the ability to install a picture, triple air supply system, seven cleaning filters, quiet operation.

Disadvantages: Technique in the form of a painting is not cheap.

Hello, dear site visitors!

Today in my review I want to tell you about life-saving coolness during the heat - LG air conditioners. But the air conditioner we are talking about is not an ordinary household appliance. This is the Art Cool Panel series - a stylish air conditioner that will fit perfectly into your interior.

This series is not like standard rectangular indoor units. It is square with a glossy surface! Moreover, its thickness is only 129 mm.

Models in this series are marked: A09,10,12LH **, where “**” will indicate the color - red wine, blue, metallic, white cream, wood, light wood and mirror.

But you can also choose a reproduction of a famous artist instead of a solid color. So your friends and acquaintances will not immediately understand that it is your air conditioner!

The numbers in the model indicate the square footage of the room for which it is designed. We multiply the number in the model name by 3 and get the approximate area. Therefore, before buying this series, decide in which room it will be located (area and color).

Consists of two parts (external and internal block). Easily controlled using the remote control.

But behind this beauty lies a very powerful technique. This is a split system that not only supplies cooled air, but also helps you stay warm in cool weather. Or just ventilate the room.

One of the features that distinguishes this series of climate control equipment is that the indoor unit supplies air in three directions at once (bottom, left and right). This is the “Art Cool” function, which gave the name to models for LG.

This way the room is cooled or heated more evenly. This feature is perfect for those who are “afraid” of the flow of cold air. This air conditioner distributes the flow along the wall. You can sleep peacefully when the air conditioner is running.

The power varies depending on the model (area and color) of the split system. With a cold flow, the power is from 2.64 to 5.28 kW; and when warm - from 2.73 to 5.42 kW.

These split systems are characterized by the presence of the “Neo Plasma” system, which cleans the air in 5 stages. And it happens with the help of seven filters (air purification from dust, fungus, unpleasant odors, tobacco smoke and other allergens).

A special coating of internal parts “Gold Fin” will allow your LG equipment to avoid corrosion and last longer.

I really liked the “Jet Cool” feature. It allows you to quickly cool the room (in 30 minutes) to +18 degrees. Then the air conditioner will operate in the normal set mode.

There is a “self-cleaning” function, so the air conditioner itself can clean the internal parts of excess moisture and prevent the growth of mold and unpleasant odors, which means this equipment takes care of your health.

“Hot Start” - the function will not allow cold air to enter your room.

The indoor unit operates quietly (42 dB). If this is loud for you, then there is a “sleep” function. It allows the technique to work on lower sounds. When this function is turned on, the air flow resembles a breeze or a light breeze.

The remaining functions are the same as those of a conventional air conditioner - movement of the shutters, reboot after a power surge or shutdown, cleaning.

To sum up this series of split systems, we can say that this is a modern design combined with high-quality technologies.

Whether you will have this “miracle technology” or not is up to you to decide.
