In particular, Wi-Fi is smarter and more convenient to use where you need fast (tens of Mbit/s) and fairly long-range (tens of meters) communication between computers, while Bluetooth is dedicated to communication “everything with everything” without special demands on speed and range communications. BT allows you to create local networks, but they are only good for exchanging small amounts of information - transferring even a couple of hundred megabytes will take an unforgivably long time.

Bluetooth was created as a technology that maximally automates the relationship between devices. The advantages of this approach are obvious - the user spends little effort and time connecting devices.
