Purchased in Cyprus to replace a tired Sony XPERIA Z3. I was looking for a body for at least 2-3 years. After all the pros and cons I settled on it. The main criteria are battery, camera, design, no more than 5.5 inches screen.
What do you like? Strengths, dignity.
Beautiful, compact. Fits comfortably in the hand. The camera goes without saying, you already know everything yourself, objectively of course, but I haven’t seen anything better on smartphones. And there were many of them. Very playful, doesn't slow down at all. The updated Touch Visa makes me happy. Connection quality. Good battery. Fast charging. Picture quality.
What's not to like? Weaknesses, shortcomings.
The feeling of fragility for such money. It's scary to drop it. Therefore, you have to use a case, which, unfortunately, turns a beautiful device into an ordinary one. The back cover smudges very badly - a gift for investigators ☺.

The latest is Sony XPERIA Z3. Sonya's battery definitely lasted an order of magnitude longer. 6-7 hours of screen time is easy. It’s a little worse here, but it’s enough for a day with 4-5 hours of screen time in the same mode of use. But with the camera it's the other way around. Sonina's 20 MP was not even close to the 12 MP on Samsung.

After the first days of euphoria, when you don’t let it out of your hands, set it up, just get high from a new toy and the realization that you have the most top-end gadget at the moment, the mode of simple everyday use begins. And then you realize that, damn it, we are all victims of marketing. Well, he lies on the table in the office, and they ask what kind of body he is, well, he accepted the call, scrolled through the news and Facebook, answered on Viber, checked his mail, and so on... but in essence, he does absolutely nothing that he cannot make another smart 3 times cheaper. The only thing that saves me is the camera. Here yes - hats off!

The Mobile World Congress 2016 exhibition ended a couple of weeks ago, and its main hero was the Samsung Galaxy S7.
It's time to take a closer look at the new flagship device of the Korean company.
Design
Elegant and practical design? It's possible! Modified appearance S6 with microSD and moisture resistance.
The manufacturer again used glass and metal highest quality, which corresponds to price category flagship smartphones, as opposed to plastic.

Its dimensions are 142.4 x 69.6 x 7.9 mm. The smartphone has become 1.1 mm thicker, but this is almost impossible to notice due to the sloping shape of the edges of the rear panel.
The size and shape of the flagship make it easier to operate with one hand - you can reach the opposite part of the screen with your thumb with much less effort. The power/lock and volume keys are conveniently located, but you'll have to try to get to the fingerprint scanner built into the Home key.
Next to the camera there is an LED flash and a heart rate sensor, it can also measure stress levels and oxygen saturation. It is worth noting that Samsung has decided to return the IR port to the top edge for controlling home appliances.
We're back Galaxy features S5: IP68 dust and water resistant. This allows you to lower your smartphone into water one and a half meters for up to 30 minutes.

Performance and memory
In most countries around the world, including Europe, the Galaxy S7 comes with Samsung's octa-core Exynos 8890 processor (model SM-G930F). But in North America, the device runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 (SM-G930). In tests Exynos shows top scores, but in Everyday life the difference is unnoticeable.
Both variants of the device have sufficient power, given 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory.
Interface and functionality
A small update to TouchWiz - it's still one of the most powerful shells out there.

Camera

The camera resolution is 12 MP, it is located close to the body. Maintaining sensor size and reducing the number of pixels improves camera performance in low light, resulting in brighter, sharper images. The lens was expanded, allowing more space to be captured in the frame.
The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge are the first smartphones to feature the same technology found in DSLR cameras. It speeds up autofocus and improves picture quality.
