Technical characteristics of htc desire 600 dual sim.

The HTC Desire 600 smartphone is the third device from the manufacturer that supports dual SIM cards. What distinguishes the model from its predecessors is not only the design, but also the hardware component, as well as the use latest version proprietary shell HTC Sense 5.0. In addition, HTC Desire 600 received a special operating mode for SIM cards, which means that both cards, regardless of the tasks being performed at that moment, are constantly in active mode.

Design and ergonomics

The design of the device can be described as strict, especially for the model in black, where the only attention-grabbing element can be considered the inscription in red letters beats audio on the back panel. The smartphone in a white body stands out due to the red rim surrounding the display. The device fits comfortably in the hand, due to the small width of the case, but the location of the control elements leaves much to be desired. HTC with enviable persistence ignores the long-recognized fact that the power/lock button should not be located on the top end, where in order to reach it you need to grab the smartphone or help yourself with your second hand, but on one of the sides of the case. The next puzzling little detail is the location of the manufacturer’s logo under the display. Why he is there is unknown. Finally, the last point inherent in many of the manufacturer’s smartphones is the ease of working with mechanical keys, or rather, their tactile detection. The keys are flush with the body, which makes finding them blindly very, very difficult. If you don’t have to work with the sound key often, then the power key, which, let us remind you, is located at the top end (okay, at least not on the left, as in HTC One), clearly must have some specific texture, since it is so difficult to make it protruding.

There are three types of materials on the front side: tempered glass, unpainted aluminum and glossy plastic. The glass has an oleophobic coating and is used to protect the display. The “Back” and “Home” touch keys, the camera module and sensors, light and proximity are also protected. Aluminum is used as the frame of the body and is adjacent to the plastic edging of the glass. From the front panel it smoothly flows to the sides. Having tested the strength of the metal with a sharp object, we came to the conclusion that it is almost impossible to leave scratches on it, which is good news, especially considering the bitter experience with painted metal on the HTC One S, as well as some other devices with metal bodies. A glossy plastic insert, with many holes above and below the display, hides two speakers underneath. The upper one (spoken) is located in the center of the grid, while the lower one is shifted to the right sidewall. An event indicator flashing in multiple colors can be found on the right side of the top speaker grille.

On the sides of the case there are the hardware keys listed above, as well as: a Micro-USB connector and a microphone hole - on the bottom end, and a headphone jack and a recess for removing the back panel - on the top end.

The back part, also known as the removable panel, is made of matte plastic that looks like a soft-touch coating. Fingerprints and small abrasions are hardly noticeable on it, which cover glossy cases from the very first minutes of use. In addition, this material prevents the smartphone from slipping in your hand. The removable panel covers not only the back of the case, but also extends onto the sides, where it comes into close contact with the aluminum frame. The gap between the plastic and the metal is so small that it gives the impression that the case has no dismountable parts, which, as you already know, is not true. Visually, the removable panel can be divided into three parts: the upper one, with the camera module and flash, the middle one, with the manufacturer’s logo, and the lower one, where the beats audio icon is located. Under the cover, hidden from prying eyes, there is a battery with a capacity of 1860 mAh and three slots, two for SIM cards and one for memory cards. Judging by the location of the slots, there was no need to make the battery removable. If so, this would be another reason to write down the non-removable battery as a minus. And so, if you want a removable battery, please. Fortunately, the presence of slots, a removable battery and a removable panel did not make the case creaky, loose, and so on - it is monolithic, and even made of materials that are pleasant to the touch. If it were not for the listed shortcomings in ergonomics, the HTC Desire 600 could have been given the maximum score, but, alas.

Operating system and shell

The smartphone has an operating system installed Android system 4.1.2 with a proprietary shell – HTC Sense 5.0. Exactly the same as the HTC One. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to review a commercial sample of the HTC One, nor did we manage to describe all the features updated interface. In order to correct this oversight, we decided to prepare a detailed HTC description Sense 5.0 using the example of the HTC Desire 600 smartphone, which our readers will be able to familiarize themselves with in the near future. For now, let’s note the most significant of them.

HTC BlinkFeed- a news stream containing information from social networks and other sources of information, about 1400 in total. HTC BlinkFeed is located on the far left window of the Desktop.

The desktop can accommodate from two (including HTC BlinkFeed) to five windows. The application list allows you to change the number of icons displayed simultaneously from a 3x4 matrix to a 4x5 matrix.

The lock screen displays the current time, date, and weather conditions. In addition, at the bottom of the screen there are four shortcuts for quick access to dialing, messages, browser and camera. The set of lock screen widgets, and accordingly its appearance, can be changed to one of the five presented options.

Hardware platform

HTC Desire 600 is based on the new Qualcomm chipset – Snapdragon 200, which includes four Cortex-A5 processor cores running on clock frequency 1.2 GHz and Adreno 203 video accelerator. The amount of RAM is 1 GB, the internal memory is 8 GB, of which 4.7 GB is available to the user.

Such characteristics allow the smartphone to easily cope with HD video in AVI and MKV format. The only thing that the standard video player struggles with is the sound in the AC3 codec. Playing Full HD video is also possible, but when using a third-party player, you shouldn’t count on comfortable viewing of such videos; the video twitches noticeably. However, the capabilities of the HTC Desire 600 are wider than those of a similar one, if we compare the hardware platforms of the dual-SIM phone, Samsung Galaxy Win, which turned out to be too tough to play HD video using standard means.

The device's performance indicators are at the level of last year's dual-core platforms.

The quality of communication is not satisfactory, the volume of the speakers is very high, its reserve should be enough for any situation. The sound quality is also excellent and can delight the owner both when listening through speakers and on headphones.

Like the Samsung Galaxy Win companion, the HTC Desire 600 has a power saving mode. Turning it on reduces the maximum processor clock speed, from 1.2 GHz to 1 GHz, and the display brightness, from 432 cd/m² to 131 cd/m². Considering that when testing the autonomy of smartphones we always use 50% brightness, in this case 147.7 cd/m², differences between brightness and processor clock speed in normal and power-saving modes are minimized.

Therefore, we simply cannot expect any noticeable increase in autonomy, which is confirmed by the Antutu Tester application, where the HTC Desire 600 scored 458 and 488 points in normal and energy-saving operating modes, respectively. The results of the two-hour tests are shown below.

Display and cameras

The model is equipped with a Super LCD2 display with a diagonal of 4.5 inches and a resolution of 960x540 pixels. The display has wide viewing angles and close to natural color reproduction. The absence of an air gap plus the relatively high brightness contribute to the good behavior of the screen in the sun. Brightness indicators range from 24.6 cd/m² to 432 cd/m². The average value corresponds to 147.7 cd/m². The display has a good factory calibration, which is slightly spoiled by the high color temperature, which gives the picture somewhat cold tones.

The smartphone has two cameras. The main camera has an f/2.0 aperture, allows you to take pictures with a resolution of 8 MP and record HD video, the front one also records HD video, but the maximum photo resolution is 1.6 MP.

You can evaluate the quality of pictures and videos taken with HTC Desire 600 cameras using the examples below.

Results

The HTC Desire 600 smartphone is equipped with two loud speakers that produce good sound, a quad-core processor, the latest edition of the proprietary HTC Sense 5.0 shell and support for two SIM cards that can work in active mode regardless of what tasks are being performed, be it a conversation on one of them or data transfer. In addition, it stands out due to its bright display, good performance, and the main camera with high-aperture optics, as well as high-quality case materials and assembly.

When every second smartphone has a Dual-SIM function, and the Desire line is going through hard times, there are special hopes for the HTC Desire 600 dual sim were not assigned. Is this attitude justified?

Of course, an additional SIM card slot often requires sacrifices in the form of reduced performance. This time, not everything is so bad - the platform is the quad-core Snapdragon 200 Cortex-A5 (1.2 GHz). In addition - a gigabyte of RAM.

HTC desire 600 dual sim black video review

Of course, HTC tried to add as much “tasty” as possible to the Desire 600 dual sim. The front-facing BoomSound speakers promise first-class sound quality, and unlike the One and One mini, the hero of our review has a couple of trump cards in the form of a slot for microSD cards and a removable battery. The smartphone looks quite thin, despite its 9.2 mm.

With its dimensions (134.8 x 67 x 9.3 mm), the Desire 600 is strikingly similar to the HTC One, which is slightly larger (137.4 x 68.2 x 9.3 mm). But due to the small amount of metal in the materials of the device, the weight of Desire 600 does not exceed 130 g. This is 13 g less than the above One. However, how noticeable it will be is another question.

We already said that the Desire 600 dual sim looks like an alternative version of the HTC One. Of course, the budget makes itself felt; it doesn’t look like a premium device. This is evidenced at least by the main material from which the smartphone is made - plastic. This is not a defect, but the cost (along with the weight) reduces considerably.

Desire 600 does not have any metal inserts, so you won’t be able to actively “drop” it. Still, the smartphone is not intended for extreme use. But the back panel does not leave fingerprints, which is very, very good.

Unfortunately, the display lacks Gorilla Glass protection, which is something potential buyers should keep in mind. There are two buttons at the bottom of the screen - Back and Home - and a speaker above it. Located near the speaker front-camera(1.6 MP).

On the top edge of the HTC Desire 600 dual sim there is a power control/lock button and a standard 3.5 mm jack. 8 MP camera with flash covered protective glass. A huge company logo with the BeatsAudio prefix sits comfortably under them.

The 4.5-inch screen guarantees easy holding of the smartphone with one hand; high-quality materials only contribute to this. Moreover, the back panel is made of special plastic that prevents your hand from slipping.

When the battery is fully charged, we are promised about 577 hours in autonomous mode and 11 hours in operating mode. In practice, under average load, a smartphone can “live” a little more than 50 hours. Not a bad indicator!

HTC Desire 600 Dual SIM uses the “good old” Android 4.1.2, which received the Sense 5 add-on. As before, there is the BlinkFeed service, which allows you to receive prompt and systematic information about updates on all social networks at once. It’s a pity that VKontakte, popular among domestic users, was not included in this list.

A smartphone like the Desire 500 does not have a separate “Menu” key, but you can assign it to the “Home” hold. Unfortunately, there is no support for buttons for quick access to system settings; you have to poke around in the menu the old fashioned way.
The device is blocked in a standard way, with additional 4 shortcuts for main applications + time/weather indicators.

Google Now runs on HTC Desire 600 dual sim too - just press and hold the Home button. In addition to recognizing and using voice commands, the service has learned to adapt to the specific owner. For example, frequent searches for all the information about your favorite sports team will result in Google Now adding “gags” in the form of future games of athletes.

HTC Desire 600 dual sim did an excellent job in the audio reception and transmission test, even in conditions where it was simply impossible to make a call through other smartphones. There is no point in turning the speaker volume up to maximum when talking - it is very loud. So you can’t call a smartphone a “sissy” - everything here works for maximum ease of communication.

htc desire 600 dual sim white photo

HTC Desire 600 dual sim was released with standard Android “Gallery”, supplemented with a couple of features from Sense 5 UI. Alas, Zoe was not included in this list, since with weak hardware there is no particular point in it. But don't be upset, and without Zoe everything looks interesting.

One of the aforementioned features was the “Events” tab. They group images together depending on when and where they were taken. Each event includes a 30-second video, which is edited from photos of the corresponding groups. You can delete videos, add video effects and background music.

The second and one of the most pleasant features was the photo editor. Lots of filters, frames and photo modifications available!

Why is the video player not so good?

The Desire 600 dual sim video player is as simple as two. There is no need to even launch a separate application, everything can be viewed directly in the gallery. But bad luck - a whole bunch of codecs are not supported: DivX, XviD and MOV. The AC3 sound format is also beyond the capabilities of a smartphone.

Considering the display is not the smallest, this problem with support for popular video formats seems unpleasant. It's easy to fix the problem - just download a couple of "video player" applications from the Play Store.

Not a bad camera...but could be better

The 8-megapixel camera can take pictures with a resolution of 3264x2448 (at 4:3) and 3264x1840 (at 16:9). Video is recorded in 720p resolution and 30 frames per second. The lens width is 28mm, which is larger than usual. It seems that you can take good pictures with this, but not this time. Despite the more or less adequate color reproduction, a slight blurring of the frame is always present, no matter what shooting mode or environment you choose.

htc desire 600 dual sim video review in russian

In the form of Desire 600 dual sim, the company has released a new product based on the well-known and time-tested recipe - “mix good design, quality materials and an adequate price, and mix.”

These are not the best financial times for HTC, and they have no right to make mistakes by releasing failed smartphones. Therefore, Desire 600 dual sim will definitely find its buyer. Games, music, work - he can handle everything. Not without flaws, of course, but for such a price it’s inconvenient to ask for more. The plastic case looks nice, so you don’t even think about the steel case.

In conclusion, we would like to present to your attention a video review of the htc desire 600 dual sim, your opinions about the htc desire 600 dual sim, you can leave reviews below the review. If you liked the review, subscribe to our newsletter.

Options and packaging

The smartphone comes in an almost square box made of white plastic, which, with its rounded corners, resembles a modern set-top box. On the front surface of the box there is an image of the hero of the review, the end contains a sticker with brief technical information.
Inside the rather large package, the user is greeted with a sparse set of equipment:

  • Actually a smartphone.
  • Power unit.
  • USB cable for charging or connecting to a computer.
  • Headset.
  • Instructions for first use and other documentation.

The difference between the configuration of this model and other representatives of the budget segment is the presence of a headset. You shouldn't expect audio masterpieces from it, but it performs its direct function properly. This completes the scope of delivery. The manufacturer tried not to invest anything unnecessary, as if concentrating attention directly on the creation of engineering thought.

Appearance and design

The device is a classic candy bar, which, in comparison with its older “brother” HTC One, is simple in design. The main material of the case is plastic; the case is made using soft-touch technology. This gives a pleasant tactile sensation and has a practical purpose - fingerprints and dust are not visible on such a surface.

The only metal part is the frame that surrounds the entire perimeter of the screen. An additional innovation is the use of plastic of a different texture around the main camera eye.

HTC Desire 600 is available in two colors: black and white. The latest version looks more youthful due to splashes of red on the design elements (frame around the screen, logos, camera frame). The white model uses smooth plastic, which is not so practical.

The black color, coupled with strict shapes, makes the smartphone “business” and “adult”.

“Business” black and “stylish” white colors.

The HTC Desire 600 model can be classified as thin, since the overall dimensions of the case are 135x67x9 mm. The weight of the device is 130 grams. Separately, it is necessary to say about the build quality. During operation there were no creaks or backlashes observed. All the details are fitted, creating a complete feeling of solidity.

On the front panel there is a screen with a diagonal of only 4.5 inches, which by modern standards is clearly not enough for comfortable work. At the top and bottom there are speakers covered with a metal mesh. It is due to the use of a stereophonic sound system that the device turned out to be stretched in length, which makes it compact.

There are two buttons at the bottom of the screen, on either side of the company logo. Left – Back, right – Home. They have a vibration response when pressed. The keys are also equipped with automatic backlighting, which turns on when there is insufficient lighting.

Sensors are located above the screen, there is an indicator of missed events, which is hidden under the speaker grille, and a 1.6 megapixel camera.

The side edges contain controls, which HTC has a flat shape, which is not very convenient for “blind” search. The right edge has a volume rocker, the left is left empty.

The top end has a power button and a headphone or headset jack. At the bottom there is a microUSB port for connecting a charger.

Back panel equipped with an insert of a different texture of plastic around the camera eye and flash. Exactly in the center there is the company logo, and at the bottom is the logo of the proprietary BeatsAudio sound system, which in the white version has a red border.

In general, the HTC Desire 600 Dual Sim turned out to be a compact, simple-looking and easy-to-use device.

Display

The screen used in the HTC Desire 600, Dual Sim, is called SuperLCD2, although in terms of its characteristics it is another version of the standard IPS matrices. Display resolution is qHD (960x549), which is not much for modern technologies, but sufficient for a 4.5-inch screen. The physical dimensions of the matrix are 99x56 mm. The dot density indicator is 245 ppi. This ensures completely correct display of interface elements without visible graininess.

The company's engineers managed to make the matrix successful. This is confirmed by a number of parameters:

  • Maximum viewing angles. At any angle, the picture remains juicy and rich.
  • Sufficient brightness reserve. Even on a sunny day, the picture does not fade and the HTC Desire screen remains readable.
  • Correct work automatic correction brightness

The color balance of the matrix approaches sRGB in its values, with a slight shift in the green tint, which is not a critical indicator.

There is no oleophobic coating, but the anti-reflective coating used ensures the absence of fading in bright light, while at the same time the image depth is not the highest.

Multi-touch supports up to 10 simultaneous touches.

Based on the reviews, we can conclude that HTC’s screen is a solid “4”, which is worthy of a budget model.

Software

HTC Desire 600 Dual Sim runs on Android 4.1.2 OS. The manufacturer supports updating to a more recent version of Android – 4.2. Talk about receiving the device operating system the next generation is not worth it because the model is too old.

A proprietary Sense 5 shell is installed on top of the operating system, which came to the model from HTC flagship One. Many users note that compared to previous versions the interface has lost several beautiful features, namely: a weather widget, convenient lock themes with display useful information(stock quotes, social activity, weather).

The changes affected the principle of organizing icons on desktops. It is now possible to select the grid size. It is possible to sort applications alphabetically or by time of addition. This shell was the first for which the function of combining applications into folders appeared.

Complete set preserved standard applications from HTC, which includes, in addition to the address book, time, weather, also a TV program that allows you not only to view the program schedule, but also to configure the HTC Desire 600 Dual Sim as a remote control. The phone also features a children's mode, in which restrictions are imposed on the use of the smartphone, allowing you to run only certain applications.

The HTC BlinkFeed application, which allows you to collect news from various aggregators, has not gone away.

There are pre-installed services from Google, office, Dropbox, video player.

Sound

A separate place in the HTC Desire 600 Dual Sim is occupied by the sound component. The main innovation was the use of stereo speakers, which are located on the front panel. They are able to provide high-quality sound even at maximum volume settings without distortion, wheezing or extraneous noise.

For comfortable listening to music, HTC Desire 600 Dual Sim offers the use of the BeatsAudio system. This is a set of audio enhancement hardware. When using headphones, you can achieve high-quality sound.

The built-in player allows you to comfortably listen to your favorite tracks. The Gracenote service allows you to download album covers from the Internet and create a library of songs.

For users who prefer radio, the device has an FM receiver and the ability to play Internet radio stations.

Performance

The HTC Desire 600 Dual Sim model was the first on the market to receive the Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 platform. The processor includes 4 Cortex A-5 cores clocked at 1.2 GHz.

Adreno 203 is responsible for graphics. The device has 1 GB RAM and 8 GB ROM. In reality, much less is available to the user, but this is corrected by the possibility of using microSD cards.

Despite not the highest processor power, this is enough for comfortable work. The functioning of the Sense shell is not satisfactory; everything happens smoothly and correctly. Casual games will go to maximum values graphics quality, more demanding 3D applications can be run on medium or low settings. (Please remember that these results refer to applications that were released when HTC Desire 600 Dual Sim was introduced to the market).

Synthetic tests do not show the most advanced performance. IN AnTuTu smartphone scores 11,343 points.

HTC Desire 600 Dual Sim uses a number of wireless interfaces. One SIM card is designed to work in GSM and HSDPA networks, the second is used only for making calls. The device also has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, USB-Host. Built-in USB port supports OTG technology, allowing you to connect external storage devices to the phone.

Camera

The HTC Desire 600 Dual Sim smartphone has two cameras. The front one produces a resolution of only 1.6 megapixels, which is the maximum that can be used for making calls via Skype. The main camera provides 8 megapixel resolution with f/2.0 aperture. Lens size – 28 mm.

The maximum image resolution that can be obtained using the main camera is 3264x1840 pixels. At the same time, shooting in the 16:9 aspect ratio mode by default gives a resolution of only 6 megapixels.

The camera interface settings are quite standard. It is possible to select the frame resolution, shooting mode, adjust exposure parameters, color saturation characteristics, and contrast.

Separately, it should be noted the well-developed macro mode, which makes it possible to obtain detailed images from a distance of only 4 cm to the object.

The camera can shoot video with a maximum resolution of 720p. Autofocus is also available, but it is not very fast.
Reviews of the camera allow us to conclude that it is quite acceptable for the budget price segment. The best photos are taken during the day when there is sufficient lighting. Reducing the amount of light leads to noise, low detail and colors shifting to cool, blue shades.

Battery

The device is equipped with a non-removable battery with a capacity of 1860 mAh. Even by the standards of 2013, such a capacity is not enough for comfortable work for a long time.

In the mode of using two SIM cards, one of which is used to access the Internet, and the second to talk on the phone for an hour a day, the battery will run out in 8 hours. This time is not enough even for one day of use, and you will have to constantly have a charger on hand.

Playing a video at maximum brightness will drain the battery in 4 hours.

There is a power saving mode, when turned on, the processor frequency is reduced, and when the screen is locked, it is disabled Mobile Internet, the backlight dims. With its use, it is possible to slightly increase the life of the battery, the capacity of which is a clear minus of the device.

Advantages and disadvantages

The advantages of HTC Desire 600 Dual Sim over other representatives of the same price segment are:

  • Separate radio module.
  • High quality stereo speakers.
  • User-friendly interface.
  • Nice matrix.

The disadvantages of the model include:

  • Low battery capacity.
  • Not the best camera.

Mine the lineup HTC updates quite rarely, not to mention smartphones that support two SIM cards. Be that as it may, last year the official debut of a modification took place, characterized by a relatively low cost and designed to satisfy the needs of modern consumers - the HTC 600 Dual Sim. Reviews from owners mainly characterize the model as quite successful, which supports working with two cards. However, most of them focus on the nuance that both of them are constantly active. Many other models from different manufacturers They cannot boast of such a feature. HTC review The 600 Dual Sim is presented in more detail later in this article.

Appearance

The design of the smartphone as a whole can be called quite restrained, strict and typical for this manufacturing company. The only bright element on its body is the eat audio branding located on the side. In the case of the white version of the device, the stylish red rim also stands out. A not entirely clear idea was to place the logo under the screen, because this space could have been used more rationally. Unlike the currently popular trend with a standard button arrangement on devices of this kind, in the HTC 600 Dual Sim the power key is still installed on top. As for the sound adjustment, it can be found on the right. There is a hole at the top end for connecting headphones. At the bottom there is a microUSB port, as well as a microphone.

The body itself is made of plastic combined with an aluminum cover. Although the plastic is matte and rough, it still makes the surface slightly unusual and original. Holding the device in your hand is very pleasant. The weight of the model is 130 grams, while its dimensions are 135 x 67 x 9 millimeters. The build quality and the rear removable panel, which does not creak at all and does not draw attention to itself, deserve special praise.

Display

One of the most expensive elements in any smartphone is the screen. The HTC 600 Dual Sim was no exception. The display characteristics of this device are largely due to the high-quality Super LCD2 matrix underlying it. is 4.5 inches, while its stated resolution is 960 x 540 pixels. The backlight can be adjusted either manually or automatically. As for pixelation, it is not visible here. The horizontal and vertical viewing angles are different. Due to the absence of an air gap, the image is viewed quite clearly and well, and the colors are reproduced correctly. At the same time, in the case of operation opposite the sun, there is not a strong, but still distortion of colors. Be that as it may, it would make quite a lot of sense for the HTC 600 Dual Sim. Reviews from many experts are clear confirmation of this.

Working with two SIM cards

The ability of the model to operate simultaneously with two SIM cards is organized quite simply. The first slot is designed to use a card that will work with 3G networks, while the second slot is used for 2G connections. The priority mode for transmitting information is set in the menu. The selection of a suitable SIM card is carried out immediately before making a call or sending a message. Moreover, a separate key is provided for each of them. It should be noted that the HTC 600 Dual Sim simultaneously uses two radio modules that are independent of each other. Thanks to this, both cards are always available. Moreover, you can even talk on both of them at the same time. This feature is very rare even for the modern market of smartphones and phones.

Calls

All calls are displayed in a separate section, where they are marked in different colors depending on the type of call (incoming, outgoing, missed). Since the list is general, the list will be quite long. The convenience of the virtual keyboard used in the device is associated with the function quick search both by contacts and by numbers. If desired, the user can additionally display data from social networks in one list or remove information that is unnecessary for him. For each of the contacts recorded in the memory, there is a a large number of information fields. All numbers from the phone book can be divided into groups with individual pictures and signals assigned.

Messages and email

No less interesting in the HTC 600 Dual Sim is the message menu, main feature which became possible to scale fonts and create so-called hidden groups messages where “secret” SMS will be stored. As noted above, the keyboard of this device can be called quite comfortable. Typing messages is quite easy, thanks to the large screen size. You can enter text using a function that automatically corrects typos and spelling errors.

Work with mail in the model is carried out through two independent applications. Using the first of them (it works exclusively with the Gmail system), the user creates the corresponding Account when you start your smartphone for the first time. In the future, the box is configured automatically. The second application is designed for collecting and sending letters through other mail services.

Specifications

Special words are deserved in HTC smartphone 600 Dual Sim characteristics devices from a technical point of view. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor with four cores. It operates at a frequency of 1.2 GHz. The volume of built-in memory is 8 GB. At the same time, it should be noted that almost half of it is reserved for system resources, so buy this model It is recommended immediately with an additional memory card (drives up to 32 GB are supported). The device has 1 GB of RAM. In general, it functions quite smoothly and normally. If slight delays do occur, they are associated with large games and switching applications in the menu.

Battery

Similar to many other models from this manufacturer, the HTC 600 Dual Sim is also equipped with a replaceable battery with a capacity of 1860 mAh. The instructions that come with the smartphone say that it lasts for 11.1 hours of talk time and 577 hours of standby time. As practice shows, when operating under standard conditions with two active SIM cards The device can work without recharging for a maximum of one day. If you turn on video recording at maximum brightness, it will be completely discharged in about five hours. If desired, you can activate the standby mode, but in this case the backlight level and processor frequency will decrease. Moreover, the screen and Internet access will be blocked.

Photo and video

Main HTC camera The 600 Dual Sim has a bright flash, auto focus and is capable of recording HD videos. Its resolution is 8 megapixels. The quality of pictures and recordings, as for devices belonging to this class, can be called quite high. Among other things, the model is equipped with a special chip, which is an autonomous device, the main purpose of which is to carry out photography operations. Thanks to it, the application launches almost instantly. In addition to the main one, the device also has an additional one with a resolution of 1.6 megapixels, which can be used for video communication and creating so-called selfies.

Music

The standard smartphone player provides the ability to see media data and song covers, as well as create playable lists. There is no equalizer provided here. Instead, the HTC Desire 600 Dual Sim only offers an option such as Beats Audio, which does not at all spoil the sound quality, as in many other models. Due to it, while listening to music, settings are selected and changed automatically. Switching tracks can be done using a widget displayed on the locked screen. The smartphone boasts loud speakers and excellent sound when using headphones. Among other things, there is an application that allows you to listen to music even through Internet radio, as well as determine the names and artists of songs playing nearby.

Firmware update

In order to save money, it is recommended that in a device such as the HTC 600 Dual Sim, the firmware is updated if available. wireless connection to the Internet. It can be done quite simply, even for an ordinary smartphone user who has never encountered anything like this. To do this, you first need to go to the settings menu in the “About phone” section. It is there that information about the existing firmware is displayed. Next, you need to click on the “System Update” button, after which the process of downloading files will begin. The main two nuances that should be remembered when performing these manipulations are the availability of the required amount of free memory, and also that the device cannot be used (or turned off) during the download. Once the installation of new files is complete, the smartphone will reboot on its own.

conclusions

To summarize, first of all, you should focus on the fact that the device belongs to a very small group of smartphones that have two full-fledged radio modules. This fact often becomes decisive in favor of the model and makes it the optimal solution in its price segment for those people who spend a lot of their time on telephone conversations. Of course, some other characteristics of the device are also very good - high performance, a good display and powerful stereo speakers. The only significant drawback is not the most best battery. Be that as it may, the short duration of his work was the result of the above advantages. As for the cost of the HTC 600 Dual Sim, the price of the smartphone averages 440 US dollars.
