Company No.1 is quite famous Chinese manufacturer smart watches and bracelets. They just have a huge range of models. Based on this, it was worth believing that they had learned to do their job well. Of course, you shouldn’t expect anything extraordinary from a $20 watch. 19 dollars 99 cents - that’s how much they cost me on AliExpress. The main thing here is that they cope with their functions. It is worth noting that No.1 F3 is quite popular (this is evidenced by numerous orders).
I ordered mine back in July by pre-order at official store selling on AliExpress (DTNO.I Official Store). I've been using them for 2 months now. It must be emphasized that most of the time, and this is about 90% of the time, they lie idle. Sometimes I wear it when going out as a regular watch to tell the time. Looking ahead, I will say that they can only be used in this capacity. I didn’t expect anything outstanding from them, but I didn’t think that they would be so bad as a “smart assistant.”
Equipment and appearance
The set includes only the watch itself and brief instructions in Chinese and English languages. There is no charger as the No.1 F3 uses a regular replaceable battery. It should be enough for a whole year of watch operation.
Rubber strap. It is quite pleasant to the touch and does not cause any discomfort on the hand. Easily removed and changed if necessary.
The watch case is plastic with a removable metal cover. The ring around the glass looks and feels like metal, but the magnet does not attract it. It's some other material, maybe aluminum.
The specifications indicate a case thickness of 12.8 mm. This seems to be true somewhere. According to my measurement it comes out to 13 mm.
The case is protected from water according to the IP68 standard. When disassembling the watch, the rubber band fell off, and I did not fasten it back well, which led to an unpleasant incident. After getting caught in a heavy downpour, about an hour later, the screen fogged up heavily on the inside. This is purely my fault. This did not affect the operation of the watch in any way. After drying, I correctly attached the elastic to the body. The watch now successfully passes the water and shower test.
Working with watches and their functions
To turn on the clock No.1 F3, you need to simultaneously hold down the lower left key and the upper right key. They will turn off in the same way. All control occurs with four keys or through the application.
Pressing the top left Light key once turns on the backlight. If you hold it down, Bluetooth turns on. The Bluetooth icon appears and flashes on the watch face. This means that a search for a smartphone is underway. If the pairing is successful, the icon stops blinking and stays on all the time.
Holding the lower left key activates the time setting. Aimed with the right keys. This is unlikely to be needed, because when you first pair with the phone, the time is taken from there. The lower left key toggles the display of data on the screen each time it is pressed again. Displayed: date (day and month), steps, calories, kilometers (distance traveled), alarm clock, stopwatch, atmospheric pressure (data from the Internet through the application), ultraviolet radiation from the Sun (data from the Internet). To set the alarm clock and stopwatch, use the upper and lower right keys. It's easier to do this through the application.
All these icons are constantly displayed along with the time. The camera icon, message icon and call icon are also constantly shown. It’s just not clear why this is needed. It's pure window dressing, like look at what's not here. Personally, I don't like this approach. When switching between functions, a single icon for the corresponding function appears at the bottom.
It is worth noting that atmospheric pressure and ultraviolet levels will be displayed incorrectly if the smartphone is not connected to the Internet or GPS is not enabled on the smartphone. Also, the application will display the street temperature incorrectly (this data is also from the Internet and based on GPS coordinates). For some reason, the watch does not notify that there is no Internet connection, but shows incorrect data! Here I am standing on the street in the evening. Wild cold. I look at the temperature in the app, and it says 20 degrees, which is wrong. And all because the phone is turned off Mobile Internet. This is a big minus for F3!
The pedometer recognizes steps well. If you just wave your hand and stand, the steps don't count. If you’re walking, it doesn’t matter whether you’re waving your watch with your hand, keeping it in your pocket, or working with your phone while walking. In all these cases the steps are recognized correctly. As for accuracy, according to my measurements, out of 100 steps, the average is 95. The error is about 5%. I won’t judge whether this is a good or bad indicator.
There is no function for switching music on your smartphone through the watch. In my opinion this is a significant drawback. This function should be basic.
I couldn’t take photos on my smartphone through the watch. This feature does not work.
For some reason, the reminder about being in a long sitting position does not work.
During incoming call and a new message, the clock beeps quietly for a couple of seconds. There is no vibration signal in them. The watch does not display the number or name of the caller, the same as when sending a message. The handset and message icon just blinks for a couple of seconds.
The clock beeps so quietly that you simply won’t hear the alarm. So consider him not here. You'll have to set it up on your phone as usual.
Application
You must install the Fundo Bracelet application on your smartphone. IN Play Store it received a well-deserved average rating of 2 points (at the time of review it was rated by 1,470 users).
The Russian language is present in the application. The translation is clumsy, but it doesn't matter. The watch worked normally with the application for more than a month. Sometimes the first time, sometimes after several attempts and for a long time, but the connection with the smartphone was established. And then at one fine moment the connection with the application ceased to be established completely. I installed the Fundo Bracelet on another phone and the first pairing went fine. But after the first loss of the Bluetooth signal, the watch no longer worked with this phone. As reviews on the Play Market showed, this happened not only to me after latest update applications. 25 days have already passed since that update and there have been no fixes for almost a month! No.1 F3 I can only use as normal wristwatch. Although it was like that before. The app itself is terrible.
When you first launch the application, you must register. It is possible to log in via Facebook. In the future, all your data will be saved in the cloud, which will allow you to continue working with this data after installing the application on another smartphone. The first thing you will need is to indicate your gender, date of birth, weight and height. For some reason, the units of measurement always get confused. Gender from male to female, degrees Celsius to degrees Fahrenheit, and kilograms to pounds. This happens on two smartphones.
On the main tab of the application, the number of steps taken today is displayed, and below them the percentage until the daily goal is achieved. Clicking on this data opens a report for the entire time. But it will open only if there is internet. Otherwise, you simply will not be able to view the report and will see the message “The network is incorrect!” This is the strangeness of the application and another minus for it.
It also shows the temperature on the face, ultraviolet radiation, atmospheric pressure and altitude above sea level. All this data is taken from the Internet. As I wrote above, if there is no Internet and GPS, then old data is displayed, which is incorrect. It is not clear why this is so. Another minus for the Fundo Bracelet.
On the “I” tab, you can proceed to editing your data (gender, weight, units of measurement, etc.). The goal is also configured here. This is how many steps you should walk every day. Connecting to the watch via Bluetooth also happens here. In the “about whom-what” section (this translation) you can see the version of the application, update it and send a message to the developer.
The “more” tab allows you to configure various functions of the watch and the operation of the application. The first item is “data synchronization”. Everything is clear here - data is read from the watch (number of steps).
Message settings - here you need to select notifications from which applications the watch will beep.
The sedentary reminder mode does not work. I already wrote about this above. Here you set the time period and days of the week for this mode to operate. The time after which the watch will notify you of a long sitting position is also set manually.
Here you can also turn the alarm on or off, as well as gesture control. But gesture control (actually turning your wrist when the screen should be activated) is not for No.1 F3, because The screen here is active all the time. There is no vibration signal in this watch. The application is common to different smartwatches of the company, so these items are included in it.
Bottom line
From a company specializing in the production of smart watches and bracelets, even a Chinese one, I never expected such a bad device and terrible application. All disadvantages are described above. Below is a short and basic point by point.

The classic round appearance of watches has always been a priority for me, so in this regard I was pleased with the gift. Moreover, I previously monitored my heart rate and the number of steps taken while walking using the S3 device, the previous version of the same manufacturer.
Therefore, in the new watch, it was a revelation for me to have a round case, the same as my watch. And also a round screen, unlike the bottom strip of my watch display, which because of this always seemed like a stencil to me.
The downside, in my opinion, is that the S9 lacks the ability to insert a memory card and SIM card, which is present in the S3 smartwatch I’m used to. The only thing the developers achieved with this was to reduce the thickness of the case.
But they provided in these smart watch besides everything standard list functions, also NFC– module.
The functionality of the S9 smartwatch is presented:

Concerning NFC functions– chip, then it plays the role of a contactless payment system. They say that this is one of the simplest and most reliable methods of contactless payments due to the fact that near-field information, which, by the way, is what the abbreviation NFC means, extends no further than a dozen centimeters from the module.
But I have not yet used this function, so I can neither confirm nor deny the reliability and convenience of this function.
Equipment for smart watch No1 S9
The watch box is equipped with a print with the manufacturer's logo. On the side of the box are the technical characteristics of the device. Inside the package, in addition to the watch, there is a cable, which on one side has an ordinary cable, and on the other - micro USB connection, as well as instructions. Unfortunately, the text in it is only in Chinese and English.
As a gift I received a watch with a silver case and a black leatherette strap. However, the manufacturer sells two colors of the case itself. In addition to the silver one, there may also be a black metal case, and the watch can also be selected with one of four types of straps.
In addition to the black strap I received, you can also order a brown leatherette strap, and there are also two metal straps to choose from – black and silver.
Appearance
The design of this watch is said to be identical to Samsung's Gear3. But it seems that the Chinese are not too bothered by this fact, because they even posted a video online with a comparative analysis of these devices.
For example, for me the design of this watch is more reminiscent of the appearance of more old model S3. The main difference that immediately catches your eye is that there are two control buttons protruding from the metal body of the S9, unlike one in the S3. One of which is the pedometer power button, which is very convenient compared to old version, when it was necessary to enter the menu to launch the step count function. As for the second button, it is designed to turn the device on and off.
On the other side of the case compared to the buttons, there is a micro-USB port, covered with a special plug, intended for connecting the charging cable, as well as a microphone. There are problems with removing the plug - sometimes you need to tinker with it.
The lower plastic panel of the watch is given over to the speaker and heart rate sensor. I really liked the last innovation, since in the S3 this sensor is located on the strap, so the problem of replacing the strap in this watch is a problem for the entire device.
Display
The touch screen of the watch has a resolution of 240 by 240 pixels, and if you bring the watch to your eyes, the grain of the images is noticeable, which, however, does not in any way affect the functionality of the device. In my case, it’s, as they say, don’t pick on a gift horse. But if we take it in general, then for that kind of money - this is not the subject of a complaint.
The main thing is that, even when in the sun, there are no problems with image illumination - both the dial, if this type of watch is installed, and the numbers of the current time, date, and even small text displaying the day of the week are clearly visible, in the case when the electronic clock option is installed .
The device's memory initially contains six clock display options. If they don’t suit you in any way, then you can use applications to download any suitable watch face from the Internet.
Interface and menu
As for the interface and menu of the smart watch, they are quite clear and easy to use. For example, in dialing mode, despite the small size of the displayed keyboard, the panel is sensitive to touch, so dialing a “call a friend” or a message does not cause problems. Although mistakes do happen when typing, this is most likely due to the “dimensions” of my index finger.
But there are also unusual things, such as, for example, first and last names in the contacts section are displayed together.
Conclusion
The general impressions are that I was pleased with the device.
As for the particulars:
- This smartwatch does not have enough internal “brains”, and you cannot insert an external memory card;
- By the way, S3 also has problems with incorrect translation of inscriptions into Russian that have not been completely eliminated;
- the applications have a limited list of functionality;
- The watch is not adapted to the iOS operating system, which is also a mistake by the developers.
However, compared to the S3 watch, the S9 version has a number of advantages:
- watches have become smaller in diameter and thickness;
- the display occupies the entire panel space, and does not have a black stripe at the bottom of the screen;
- To charge your watch, you don't need to carry everything with you Charger, but you only need a cable;
- the location of the pulse sensor on the bottom cover is much more practical than when it is located on the strap;
- The operating time of the device without recharging has been increased.

But three square-shaped drawings located at 6 o’clock on the dial are a touch zone, by clicking on which you can scroll through the watch menu, but only in one direction. So the manufacturer’s statement about the presence of a “touch” screen is nothing more than an advertising ploy.
By the way, the screen diameter is quite impressive and amounts to as much as 36mm, but don’t be in a hurry to delude yourself. The thing is that the real screen is a square measuring 18x18 mm in the center, and everything else is glossy frames that visually expand the size of the screen.
By the way, the manufacturer’s statements that the screen is color is also not entirely true - the inscriptions are indeed colored, but there is only one color - slightly blue. On this screen the colors are “as if that’s it.”
As for navigation, the controls are implemented quite conveniently and intuitively
In addition to the touch zone, the watch has 4 physical navigation buttons:
- UP button- scrolls through the menu, but contrary to its name, scrolls through it in the “back” direction
- DOWN button- scrolls forward through the menu and essentially duplicates the function of the touch field on the watch screen
- Start button- enters the menu, starts the stopwatch, the selected activity mode, etc. Essentially this is the Play button. A long press takes it to the workout selection menu, but more on that later.
- Stop button- exits the menu, stops the stopwatch, turns off the clock screen, and pressing it for 3 seconds turns the clock off/on.

The watch is quite massive, looks very sporty and I like it, but everyone has their own preferences and tastes. The thickness of the watch case is 18mm, and the width of the strap is 20mm. In general, steps are calculated quite well both with and without GPS on the phone. The error is approximately 5% - an overestimation of 25 steps for the 500 steps I counted.

Here we have a heart rate monitor and sleep monitoring. The watch measures your pulse fairly accurately and is off by about 2 beats. As for the sleep analysis function, I did not use this, since sleeping with such a large watch on my wrist would be very inconvenient.

I must say that usually disassembly is difficult for me, but in this model everything is simple - you need to unscrew 6 screws and remove the back cover of the watch
We get the mechanism
The golden pin under the screen is a touch element. By the way, the vibration of the mechanism itself is decent. Apparently the massive watch case dampens it and its strength is significantly reduced under normal conditions.
Lifting the pulse sensor, we find the watch battery
But now the difference between the size of the watch glass and the actual size of the screen is clearly visible. I can’t say with certainty whether the watch screen is protected by glass or plastic, but the knock sounds more like plastic.

As for general impressions, then they are contradictory:
- The battery lasted 5 weeks with daily use and BLuetooth connected, but its capacity is 291 mAh, instead of the stated 350 mAh, and the charging time is almost 4 hours
The Fundo Pro application is quite functional and a clear advantage is that you can enable notifications from any application to be displayed on the watch.
- The watch looks very nice in appearance and does not look cheap. I like its massive case and sporty design, and the inscriptions on the watch do not annoy me.
- Despite the fact that the actual dimensions of the display are smaller than the size of the watch, the readability of the display is good and the information on it is clearly visible. However, when exposed to direct sunlight, readability drops greatly.
- The build quality did not cause any complaints
- The text of notifications is displayed correctly in both Russian and Latin alphabet. In addition, you can select any application, a notification from which will be displayed on the watch screen - this is very convenient.
- But the vibration for notifications is weak. The vibration is certainly felt, but I would like it to be more distinct.
- The price/quality ratio is quite good.
The biggest disadvantage is the connection between the watch and the phone. No, the connection is not broken at all, and this is good. If the watch and phone move away by more than 10-12 meters, then the connection disappears, but it is also restored when the devices approach. But if you turn off Bluetooth on your phone, then the reconnection is carried out only after the phone is rebooted, despite the fact that the phone sees the clock - the application simply does not synchronize it. I tried to remove the watch from the list of Bluetooth devices, and rebooted the watch itself - in vain. Maybe this is a bug of my OnePlus 3T - I don’t know, but the fact remains a fact.
P.S. Either the bad review affected the watch, or the prayers were answered, but the issues with the Bluetooth connection disappeared and now everything works fine. Apparently the problem was that I was forced into the menu Bluetooth phone I immediately tapped on the watch and because of this there was a glitch in its synchronization. If you just turn on Bluetooth and wait a little, the watch and phone will find each other and establish a connection. So during the connection (if this is not the first connection of devices!) you do not need to go to the FunDo Pro application or point at the name of the watch in your list Bluetooth devices- just activate Bluetooth and wait a couple of seconds.
P.P.S. Mysku already had a review of this watch with a water resistance test. I didn’t heat mine because the clip that secures the button from the inside came off and was lost from one of the watch buttons and prevented it from falling out. So there is concern that water may get inside during the test.
Otherwise, I have no complaints about the No.1 F6 watch.

Actually, the box is clearly universal, with the exception of printing, and this particular one contained the S9 model.
The kit does not even include any docking station or a basic power supply, only USB cable and brief instructions.
Appearance of the watch.
For me, the most striking thing about this watch is the color. As I listed at the beginning, this model has several color solutions and I chose the option with a brown strap. I like it, what can I do :)Initially, a small film is glued to the watch screen. 
Design is a subjective matter, but from a distance, and if you don’t know that this is a smart watch, then it seems like a completely ordinary watch, a classic one. And they look quite attractive. 
Even back wall The watch, on which the heart rate sensor and speaker are located, looks “human”. True, considering that this is a smart watch and needs to be charged, I would like to see special contacts for charging. But they are not here, because 
... because charging is done through Micro USB connector on the left side, located next to the microphone. This connector is covered well, but the Chinese overdid it. Pulling out this plug even with fingernails is virtually impossible. Unfortunately, you can’t do without “tools”. 
I haven’t even said anything about difficulties yet. USB installation cable and there is a high probability of tearing off this same plug sooner or later. 
On the right side there are only two controls in the form of two “style” buttons.

The strap here is not leather, which is understandable. But the material feels decent, and the strap itself looks very good. Although the pictures in the store are clearly not what is shown in the photo below: 
The buckle is not inferior in quality to the strap - not the cheapest.

As for convenience, thanks to the strap, the watch fits even a relatively small hand. And it should be noted that the material of the strap is soft and will take the shape of your hand after a short time. Therefore, the watch is quite comfortable to wear, since its size is average - ~45mm. Although, those who have not dealt with watches may have to get used to them for several days.

Turning on the watch is accompanied by a demonstration of the company logo for a few seconds. The clock still turns on quite quickly. And we are greeted with this display:

Fundo Wear? 
This interesting application How “App” consists of just one picture - with a QR code for installing an “assistant” program on a smartphone. The QR code leads to the link с3.cli.im/BdF06M, which, in turn, redirects to the “Fundo Wear” page, where you need to select your operating system. Naturally, then we are thrown into the store of the selected OS, and in my case it is Google Play. 
I already had a watch from No.1, model S3, and it used exactly the same application. You can. This time I will be brief, because, in fact, the program is not very much of itself.
Firstly, when you first start, you need to create and configure your profile. And then we see what is in the screenshots below (I advise you to read it a little). There is no normal translation into Russian here - just like a year ago. This is disappointing, because the developer could well have improved the situation during this time. In fact, for convenience and understanding some points, I even had to change the language of the smartphone system to English. It would be more convenient to change the language inside the program, but they don’t give us an independent choice - you’ll suffer :)
The last screenshot just showed the English version - it is much better. 
Connecting the watch to a smartphone is quite fast and intuitive, both in English and in Russian. The very first thing is to turn on Bluetooth on the smartphone and in the watch itself through a separate application. In the program, go to the synchronization item and press the search button - after some time our “S9” will appear there.
Connection occurs with a PIN code, but you do not need to enter anything yourself. 
Well, that’s all with “Fundo Wear”. What can the program do? Show the distance traveled, set a goal, analyze the dream, namely, show the duration of its phases, and also save data on the heartbeat (the usual archive of measurements). In principle, these are all the main functions of the program.

Now let's take a closer look at the applications, since we have already connected the watch to the smartphone. Dialer, SMS, Contacts and Call Log - standard features, all directly connected to the smartphone. 
There is a Bluetooth camera - through it you can launch the camera without using the smartphone itself and take pictures without touching the screen. In theory, this is an excellent function for shooting something at long shutter speeds, but I don’t think it’s really in such demand. 
Music and notifications - the first is just buttons with which you can manipulate the running music on your smartphone, and the second is a regular list of notifications. There is no analogue of the curtain, which this watch, for some reason, does not have. 
Gestures are the same ones for ease of use. IN everyday use They work well when you need to look at the time - just turn your hand towards you and they will show it. “Themes” application - offers a choice the background The entire menu is purely black, or in “bulbashki”. Not the widest selection :) 
The pedometer is a separate function of the watch, without enabling it, no data will be synchronized with the mobile application. Truth and meaning from mobile application small - in the watch itself you can set a goal for yourself and see the same statistics by day, along with the distance traveled in the selected unit of measurement. Even the calories spent had a place here. So the strong need for “FundoWear” disappears. 
The heart rate monitor cannot be said to inspire confidence, but the results are approximately true. And there is also a log of measurements by day. 
The watch also has an app called vibration. As you understand, its only function is to activate vibration. The controls are intuitive :) 
There is also Anti-lost, but in reality it is a regular sound signal. Also in the list of applications you can find some kind of program called “Watchfaceapp”, where, I hoped, you could choose something interesting in terms of watch faces, but this is another QR code, the link of which leads to a page that does not open. Apparently, now you will definitely have to choose from what is available.

Conclusions.
The review focused on the main features and interface of the watch, but about the ease of use in Everyday life I decided to write here. So, how comfortable are the No.1 S9? Let me start with the fact that these “S9” differ from previous models with almost the same name in their name, and again, in design. Here and not Android Wear, so you have to make do with what you have, but there isn’t that much - there are a lot of available dials, the functions are still the same standard minimum - steps, calories, heart rate, sleep and basic tasks paired with a smartphone. In addition to all this, the clock does not work for more than two days, unless, of course, you are not going to do anything other than look at the time from time to time (an excellent tautology). And let me remind you, charging them is not the most pleasant thing, and overusing it will definitely not allow the plug covering the USB connector to last long.And all this costs just over $30. Whether it's worth it or not is, of course, up to you to decide. My review of this watch is not the first, so those interested can find others :)
