Of course, the TV does not reproduce colors, as well as professional monitors for graphic designers, but with larger sizes it is much better to play it or watch movies stored on computer disk. Someone may ask why connect a computer if the TV plays video files even without its help. But, as we have shown, it will not handle all data formats. If your video is stored on an unsupported device, instead of wasting time converting the format, it's better to just plug in your computer.

The output will be an MKV file with audio tracks in AC3 format, but it will not be played on a TV (and some hardware players). In this case, there will be no problems on the computer. This is due to the fact that in embedded players there is a certain jamb with compliance with MKV standards and you need to disable header compression when compiling the file. To do this, the file is rebuilt using a properly configured MKVMerge (MKVToolnix) - in versions older than 4, you must set the option "Disable header removal compression for audio and video tracks by default" in the settings and restart the program.
Fortunately, the problem can be easily fixed by changing the settings manually. One note about Polish inscriptions. But this procedure, with a large movie size of several gigabytes, takes some time even for powerful processor, not to mention the fact that it is not very convenient. Fortunately, with the advent of the next SamyGO DCA application module for Samsung TVs, the problem of codecs previously not supported by the TV media player is solved in a jiffy.
After a series of tests, the average input lag for the test TV is approximately 45 ms. Whether this is a lot or not depends on the specific application. Note: in this version of the module, unlike SamyGO Auto, PVR and other applications, the mechanism for its autorun along with turning on the TV has not yet been implemented. Therefore, every time you encounter a movie playback problem in the TV media player (the movie does not play, or it plays without sound), the DCA module will need to be started manually.
You need to start the DCA module correctly in the following sequence:
- You try to play a movie (for example, in MKV format) in the media player of the TV, but it plays without sound or says that this format is not supported.
- Turn off the TV (red button POWER on the remote), then turn it on again.
