3. Open the page on which you need to register: at the top right, click “Login” and in the panel that opens, click the “Create account” button.

Profile setup
1. On the right top corner click on your nickname.
2. In the list of options that appears, select “Open profile.”
3. On the new page, on the right side, follow the “Set up Steam profile” link.

Client installation and authorization
1. To download the online client installer to your computer, click on the “Download Steam” link (the button is located on left side from nickname).
2. Once the download is complete, run the installer with administrator rights.
3. In the “Installation...” window, check the box next to “I accept...”. Click Next.
4. Select the interface language: click to turn on the radio button next to “Russian”, click “Next”.
5. Wait a little: the client will automatically download and install the updates.
7. Enter the name you specified during registration and password. Click "Login".

3. Go to Mailbox specified in the registration field (log in).

- Disguise. This is not actually deleting, but rather hiding your profile for a while:
- Log in to the application.
- Click on your login, then “View profile”.
- Click on the “Edit Profile” button.
- On the questionnaire page that appears, enter fictitious data.
Using the same principle, the list of nicknames you used is deleted:
- In the "Friends" menu, select "Change nickname".
- Create different nicknames from arbitrary combinations of characters until all real nicknames disappear in the “Edit Profile” window, in the drop-down menu next to the avatar.

Now let's move on to games. Games are purchased in two ways: in the store and on the Steam Store website. If you bought a disc in a store, then you need to insert it into the drive, enter the CD key and install. But over the Internet the situation is different. The fact is that the Steam Store only supports credit cards, i.e. no Web Money or Yandex.Money. There are, of course, fraudulent stores that buy with stolen credit cards. Only if you buy a game in this store, after some time on Steam it will either be taken away from you or your account will be blocked. After purchase, the game is automatically updated to the latest version.

Back to the community. Let's join some group. Click “My Control Panel”, go to the “Groups” tab and click “Find Groups”; in the list there is a group called Russia (that’s what we need), click on the name and click join. You are now in the Russia group. This group and information about the participants will appear in the friends window (how many are in the chat, how many are in the game, how many are online), click the down arrow next to the group name and click “Join the chat”. In the chat, people are not always kind, but we still write “Preved kreved!))))”, in short, we communicate. Want to talk to a specific person? Click right click on it and click “Send message”. You can also make a voice call there.
- Never give your password to anyone under any pretext (checking legality, improving the system)! Even if it is like an administrator (moderator, system bot, etc.). Valve (the owner of Steam) does nothing like this.
- Do not buy games from fraudulent online stores! Buy only from the official Steam Store.
- Attention! Your friend may be targeted by scammers. Naturally they will ask for a login and password! Don't fall for the trick!
- In chats and messages, these same scammers write links supposedly to an improved Steam Store or Steam Community, or they simply promise free games. Nothing like this will happen! Your account will be stolen.
- Do not enter your username and password on fraudulent sites.
